at the count of three — ellie williams.
summary: how do you tell your best friend you’re in love with them? ellie has an answer! just be cool and wait for the right moment— and the next. and maybe another one, just to be sure. if you get impatient, you can always take a deep breath and count to three! (years, that is)
warnings: slow burn (childhood friends to lovers <3), little bit suggestive but no smut!
notes: born from a piece of dialogue i wrote like, a year ago and completely forgot about but somehow a week later it's 4k words? idk you're welcome or i'm sorry!!! also yes they do spend almost every scene sitting together on a couch but that's what lesbianism is all about...

ONE!
A movie plays on the TV, a slightly tarnished DVD of an 80’s action flick starring some oily guy and the most beautiful woman you’ve ever seen— Ellie doesn't remember much other than an obnoxiously epic soundtrack and lingering shots that made the plot twist too obvious about 20 minutes in.
She's freshly eighteen; you’re ahead only by a couple months. It's a warm Friday night, Joel and your dad in the kitchen putting scraps together for a mildly healthy dinner, Ellie sitting on the very opposite side of the couch from where you are. It’s hot, she'd said, looking away from your comically insulted face that grew with every scooch she made from your side, a lame excuse to save her from the newly found (and fucking torturous) fluttering that sparks in her stomach whenever she sits too close to you.
From the kitchen comes the sound of a can hitting the floor, followed by Joel’s 'shit!' and then quickly, 'sorry, girls'. You chuckle, turning to Ellie and catching her staring at you. A wrinkle forms between your eyebrows at the same time a pink warmth floods her cheeks. “Dude, you’re not even paying attention.”
“I am,” a scoff, her eyes now strictly committed to the screen. “The noise distracted me,” she adds, knowing it didn't even make her flinch from the careful study of your side profile.
“Scaredy cat— ow!” a pillow crashes against your cheek, sudden enough to shock you, too soft to do any real damage. “What the fuck?”
Ellie raises her eyebrows and looks at you from the corner of her eyes, a smirk half hidden by her hand. “Don’t be rude, you're missing the best scene.”
You throw the pillow back and scoff when she catches it, your lips slightly pursed, the signature sign to tell you’re annoyed. It's almost identical to the replica of that gesture that sits at the end of her last journal entry, an overly dedicated sketch born from a wandering thought. She could make it more accurate, she thinks now, soften the line of your jaw, take the scar on your cheek a little more to the left.
The sound of water splashing from the TV catches her attention and Ellie snaps her head forward (lest she get caught staring again), just as the blonde haired love interest is walking out of a fancy looking swimming pool.
“She’s hot,” you say, fingers pulling absentmindedly at loose threads on the rip of your jeans. When Ellie doesn't say anything, you turn to look at her, “You don't think so?”
Her voice comes out a higher pitch than she’d like. “What—” she clears her throat before continuing to mumble, “I don't know, I guess.”
You laugh. “You guess?”
“Yeah, I— I don't know, dude, I wasn't thinking about that.”
You watch the nervousness on her face, the gulp that passes her throat, the red under her freckles. Fondness tugs at your chest and your voice softens just slightly, a smile playing on your lips. “Oh my God. Ellie, it’s okay,” green eyes find your face and she sees you hesitate for a second before you shrug. “Who cares? It's just me.”
You make it sound easy. It's the most distinct thing Ellie remembers about this moment, how suddenly safety felt like the most obvious thing. TV light on your face, your arm over the back of the couch, the same eyes she's been looking at since she was fourteen. Of course it's okay. Everything else with you is easy, why wouldn't this be the same?
Ellie shifts on the couch, the distance between you turning quickly ridiculous— offensive, even. She’s embarrassed to have let her flusteredness get in the way, but the urge to be closer doesn't feel right either. Everything she does feels like too much, everything she says too intense. “How long have you known?” she asks.
You tilt your head, less of a question and more of a guidance, “Known that you…”
Ellie parts her lips, unsure of whether or not she’s gonna say it or how, trying to will the words to come out. And they do, she remembers it well, because it was the first and maybe the only time she was this direct about it. “That I like girls.”
The smile on your face is teeth-rotting sweet, but she only gets to bask in it for a second before you widen your eyes and lower your voice to a scandalized whisper. “You what?”
Ellie rolls her eyes, cheeks burning, “Oh, fuck you.”
Your laugh fills up the room and the fluttering in her stomach feels absurd at this point, like she would actually be able to feel those annoying little butterflies flying around if she were to press her hand against her abdomen. “Sorry, sorry,” you say, and for a terrifying second Ellie thinks maybe they're loud too, and you’re able to hear them. But then she looks at you and forgets about it, easy easy easy. “It’s really okay. You know that, yeah?”
“Yeah,” she says. For once, there's not a glimpse of doubt about it to be found.
You watch another ten minutes of the movie in silence before your dad's head peeks out from the kitchen to call you both to the table for dinner.
Ellie has a habit of eating like it's her last day on earth. When you were both new residents of Jackson, hungry and scared and not at all used to the idea of a full plate of food twice a day, she couldn't help it. And you were the same, hence why your dad thought it would be good for you and Ellie to spend time together, which quickly turned to being around each other basically every minute of every day. But as the weeks passed, you seemed to be learning to adapt faster. A younger Ellie found this frustrating— especially after that time Joel complimented your table manners.
You’re just… nicer, she remembers saying, a stressed frown on her still childlike face, fiddling with a box of marbles she’d found under her new bed. She remembers how you pulled one out, your fingers brushing against her own for the first time ever, and held the clear crystal with green stripes next to her eyes, a satisfied smile at a practically perfect match. You’re nice too, Els, you’d said, shrugging your shoulders, the marble shoved inside your pocket, I think I just lie better.
Until that moment, Ellie had never thought about it that way; the fact that you could be pretending to feel more confident and comfortable than you really are to make yourself safer, to get people to like you. But when she asked, you swore you had never lied to Ellie. She used to drive herself mad thinking about that, a strange, confusing worry gnawing at her chest— she likes that you don't feel the need to lie, but what does it say about how you see her? Is it that you don't care if she likes you? Or worse, is it that you know that she already does?
You sit in front of her today at the same dinner table, four years later, and watch her practically inhale her bowl of pasta like no time has passed at all. You let out a snort and Ellie wonders if you can see it even now, if her constant thoughts of you are obvious even when she looks this busy.
"What?" she asks, an immediate frown on her face, though she's done you the honor of swallowing her mouthful before speaking.
"You're so gross," you say, chin resting on your palm, tilting your head like you're looking at some thought provoking art piece. Ellie thinks you'll leave it at that, but then you reach over and swipe your thumb over the red spot of sauce next to the corner of her lips, so soft she barely feels it. You watch her frown soften for a second before it becomes even deeper.
Ellie feels like her whole body is exploding with warmth, too hot under the hoodie she's wearing, too pink across her face. It's so obvious, she thinks, it's so— fuck, pull it together. Her gaze follows your finger as you bring it to your lips and lick off the sauce. “You’re disgusting,” she retorts lamely, her hand rough when she brushes it over her mouth, lest you notice another stain and she has to watch you do that again.
You are familiarly not deterred by her meanness. Or her attempt at it. "And you eat like a five year old,” you shrug. “I guess we both have our issues."
Ellie catches herself staring at your hands for the rest of the meal, certain that she's never noticed them in the same way before. How much time has she been wasting? You both have your issues, you'd said, but Ellie thinks she has you beat. Yours can't possibly be anywhere near this dangerous.
─────✧・゚: *✧・
TWO!
Someone's knocking on her door. Ellie sniffles and lets out a groan as she gets up from the couch, sore throat, her limbs heavy and tired. She knows it's you because it's always the same three knocks; the first two firm and loud, a pause, and then one tiny one that sounds almost like 'sorry'. You’re impatient but still painfully afraid to be rude— if she loved you a little less, Ellie thinks she would make fun of it a lot more. But alas, she's cursed to smile at it every time.
She opens the door and the breeze that slips in makes her fall immediately into an embarrassing coughing fit. “It’s fine,” she mutters, at the same time you’re saying jesus christ, Ellie. “Shit. I’m okay,” she clears her throat and finally gets a moment to look at you, all pretty and put together in your best shirt and a freshly showered scent, the sun setting behind you like a perfect frame. Ellie prays her lungs don't betray her again and tries to make the brush of her hand over her messy hair look casual instead of desperate.
“Well, I was gonna ask if you wanted to come to the party with me for just a few minutes, but… I’m not sure you should be out of bed,” your worried frown is pretty, too. What a cruel fate. “Is Joel home? I can stay—”
“No, no, you’re good,” Ellie shakes her head, arms crossed over her chest like maybe it’ll cover up enough and you won't notice she was wearing the same long sleeve the last time you saw her. “He’ll be here in like, five minutes. I’ll be fine, ’m not a baby.”
You’re both nineteen by this time, Ellie remembers because you wore the same pretty blue shirt that you're wearing now for her birthday, and it was the day she realized her crush was no longer deniable. It's easier to act like nothing’s happening when she feels like she's alone in it, like there's no universe where you could love her like she loves you so she might as well let the fantasy die— but then you put on your shirt that's reserved for special occasions just to come over and bring her the cupcake you made, and suddenly Ellie can picture herself with her hands on each side of your waist, pulling you close, saying thank you with her lips brushing against yours before she kisses you. She can see it so clearly that it startles her, changes everything. Her birthday comes with a punch to the gut and a hunger she wants to tell you and only you about.
“You’re not gonna be bored? I really don't mind staying until he gets home.”
Ellie thinks (dramatically, extremely nineteen—) that if she lets you take care of her, she might actually die. It felt like she almost did last time you visited, your face serious with concentration as you pressed the back of your hand against her forehead. ‘You're warm’, you said, ‘do you feel sweaty?’ Ellie stared up at you, eyes glossy and heavy from sleep. ‘Not really’, her fingers sneaked out from under the blanket to wrap themselves around your forearm, a moment of bravery or delusion, ‘your hand feels nice’. You chuckled, ‘okay, keep it’.
She’s less feverish today, but not yet recovered from the greedy voice in her head that begs her to keep you close. If you don't go to the party now, she thinks (knows) that she’ll let herself casually talk you into staying the rest of the night. “Nah, don't miss your party,” she says. “I’ll be okay, Joel’s gonna teach me how to play that old card game.”
You raise your eyebrows. “So you're gonna argue all night.”
“No— what?” Ellie scoffs. “It’ll be good, I learn fast.”
“Yeah, because you make up your own rules.”
“I have questions about the rules, that's not the same thing.”
“It is if you cheat—”
“I’m not a cheater!”
You hum, a curious tilt of your head, and Ellie rolls her eyes before the words are even out of your mouth. “No, I guess you’d have to have a girlfriend for that.”
You watch her run her tongue over her teeth, her shoulder against the door frame. “You know I could say the same to you, right?”
“Too bad I said it first,” you shrug, pretty smile stretching your lips. “I guess I'll go, then. I’ll come over when it's done so you don't miss me too much.”
Ellie tries to maintain her composure. You know, she thinks, do you know? You must know. You can't know— “Right. Also so you can steal my food and crash in my bed, I’m guessing.”
“When you’re all vulnerable and weak? What do you think of me, Ellie?” you frown sadly, a hand over your heart.
“I think I know you,” she says, the corner of her lips lifting just a little, inescapably.
You walk to the gate and turn around as you close the lock, your hands on either side of your mouth as if she’s miles and miles away. “I’ll take the couch!”
“Yeah, sure!” Ellie yells back, her voice pretty even when it's hoarse, knowing she’ll hold on for just about ten minutes before she insists you take the bed instead.
Joel stays awake with her until around 10pm, when his yawns become too many to hide and he’s already let Ellie win three games, his smile genuine and wide while she chuckles and pretends she doesn’t notice. He leaves her with a tupperware of soup for tomorrow’s lunch and a deck of cards. To teach your friends or— I don't know, keep on the coffee table, he’d said, make you look cool. Ellie’s not sure you would find a box of cards ‘cool’, but she’s not above trying.
Ever since she moved out to the garage, she’s discovered a new type of stress at the notion of having you over. At Joel’s house, all she ever did to prepare for guests was pick up the dirty clothes from her bedroom floor and put her books in a (wobbly) single pile. Now things are different. The garage is small, but it's all hers— her floor, her living room, her kitchen. She can't have you thinking that she can't take care of things on her own.
She spends the next hour moving things around until finally, two loud knocks. A second passes; Ellie looks at the cards and considers shoving them inside one of the drawers on her desk. By the time the one quiet knock comes, she shrugs and decides to leave them on the coffee table, lest Joel was right and she misses a chance to have you start thinking she's cool and mysterious. “It's open,” she says from the couch, tiredness soon catching up with her after all that time rearranging things.
The door opens and you come in, quickly closing it behind you, a relieved sigh at the loss of that crisp, cold breeze outside. “Did Joel forget those?” you ask, bent at the waist as you take your shoes off, your chin pointing at the deck, the only thing on the coffee table. Maybe she should've been more subtle with it.
“Uh, no,” Ellie scratches the back of her neck, her legs stretched across the couch. “They’re a gift.”
She's not sure you hear her over the groan you make as you stretch your arms above your head, her legs moved to the side automatically to make space for you to sit. You fall down with a sigh and both forget about the cards— you, distracted by the warm tingly feeling of a couple drinks, and Ellie by the new jacket you’re wearing.
She lets a million different scenarios spin around her head for a couple seconds before she blurts out the question. “Whose is that?”
“What?” you turn your head away from the movie playing on the TV.
“The jacket.”
“Oh,” you look down at yourself as if you’ve just remembered it’s there. “Maya was leaving too, so she walked here with me. It’s hers.”
Ellie hums, her back sliding a little further down the couch, legs spread. “Stinks like it’s hers.”
You chuckle before you can help it, her animosity ridiculous and charming— Ellie’s better with actions than she is with words. “I don't even know what you're talking about,” you shake your head, not quite slurring, but not too far from it either. "She smells like strawberries."
Fuck Maya and her strawberry shampoo. Ellie could get some if she wanted to, maybe if she traded— what the fuck is she thinking about? She rolls her shoulders back and pushes the thoughts away, gluing her eyes to the screen. “Sure,” she says, less because she agrees and more because she doesn't wanna hear what else you like about Maya. “You had fun, then?”
“It was alright. You didn't miss out on too much,” the end of your sentence stretched out by a yawn, you cover your mouth lazily and rest back fully against the couch. “Jesse was drunk. They had to stop him from getting up on a table.”
Ellie chuckles. “I don't know, maybe he had something to say. I think I would’ve let him.”
“That's what I said,” you smile and let your head fall to the side, your cheek against the cushion. She feels you staring, enables it for a while by acting oblivious, falsely over-invested in some movie she can't remember the title of. She hears you move closer before she feels it— the shuffle of your clothes, the stupid jacket rubbing against her couch, so easily forgettable by the time your temple falls on her shoulder.
Ellie's about to fall asleep when she hears the little noise you make, something like a sniffle. For a worrying second she thinks she might’ve given you her cold, but then she feels the tip of your nose brush against her shoulder and she realizes you’re trying to breathe her in.
“You always smell nice,” you whisper, half asleep.
Ellie swallows and prays to keep her body completely still, scared she’ll make the wrong move and have you pull away, scared you’ll lean closer and be able to hear the fast beating on her chest. She sounds breathy, “Yeah?”
“Yeah,” you say. “Like fresh rain.”
Slow like the roll of credits playing on the TV, Ellie feels how every muscle in her body settles down, relaxed, content— fucking cocky. She wraps her arm around your shoulders and hopes the scent will rub off on the jacket and remind Maya of a cloudy autumn night, rain over her garden.
─────✧・゚: *✧・
THREE!
"Do you think we would've liked each other?" you ask, your legs resting on her lap while she fidgets mindlessly with the ruffled cuff of your socks. Every patrol lately ends the exact same way, a quiet walk home and a joint on Ellie’s couch. "Back when the world was normal?”
Ellie turns to look at you, blinking lazily, a reddish hue over her green. You’re not sure if she's more tired or high, but either way you're not doing much better— everything you’ve said during the past hour is the kind of thought you have when you're alone at night and your brain wanders, moments away from falling asleep. It's a meaningless question, but Ellie lets out a soft hum and thinks about it like it's worth considering. You're not sure if anyone you’ve met in your whole twenty years of life is as willing to indulge you as she is.
"Yeah," she says decidedly, in the same tone with which one would say duh. "We—" a yawn cuts her off, slender hand rubbing one of her eyes. "We would be friends, like, in college."
"I wouldn't be in college.”
Ellie frowns, takes one last inhale and discards the joint to the ashtray on her coffee table. "Why not?"
"'Cause I'm not smart like you," you shrug.
The fold between her eyebrows deepens. "You're smart," she argues, with enough conviction that you almost believe her, insisting, "You are."
"In other ways, sure—” Ellie opens her mouth to interrupt but you get ahead of her, “I’m not trying to talk badly about myself, I just don't think college would be for me.”
You’ve never been the most disciplined. It’s hard to imagine yourself staying up late to study, taking diligent notes in class. It feels ridiculous.
“I’d be working somewhere, I think. Making coffee for people or something.”
Ellie pauses before she nods, adjusting her daydream to what you’re saying, strangely committed. "Then we would meet there,” she makes it sound like the easiest thing in the world, a natural equation. “I'd go get coffee from you."
You chuckle. "You don't even like coffee that much."
Ellie shrugs, soft pink lips curved in a smirk that tells you she's sleepy and serves to warn you of the horror that's about to come out of her mouth.
You groan. “Don't—”
"Maybe I like the pretty girl that's making it."
“Awful,” you push her shoulder away, barely any force behind it, her giggles swimming comfortably around your head. “Never speak again.”
"Not my best work?" she asks, her fingers wrapping lazily around your shin. Too much, her brain warns, but then she remembers the pad of your finger over the back of her hand last night, the cursive lines with no purpose other than to be touching her— and it feels right, or like it's not enough. Too much soon turns to coward.
"Possibly your worst.”
She might be going crazy, but lately Ellie feels like you’re looking at her differently. In your eyes there's something gentle, awaiting, a tracing of your eyes over her face that says please. She chews on her lip, her eagerness painful. “We would like each other,” she doesn't think there's a world where you wouldn't, and if there was… "I'd make you like me."
You raise your eyebrows, teasing, "Oh, so like now?"
Her lips part with genuine surprise, more amused than offended. “...I made you, huh?”
You regret the joke as soon as it comes out of your mouth, immediately brought back to your fourteen year old self, lonely and admittedly captivated by the auburn haired girl from next door. Flashes of you rushing to catch up with her, untied laces on your too tight sneakers, Ellie, do you wanna be friends? The sound of pages shuffling and her voice reading in whispers in the dead of night because you asked, can you talk to me until I fall asleep? Infatuated from the beginning, obsessed. Even now, on her couch, after spending a whole day together— do you like me? Would you like me, always?
A pillow crashes against the side of her face, her laugh almost louder than the embarrassed pounding of your heart. You pull your legs from her lap and lie back, fold your arms over your face. “You're so annoying.”
A lie so obvious it makes Ellie smile. She shifts to crawl closer, one knee on either side of you. “C’mon, I was joking,” she leans forward and you feel her knuckles tap your arm like she’s knocking on a door. The power to make you shy is still foreign to her, makes her feel drunk, thrilled. She doesn't remember having it before, but of course it was there. In little ways, in daily, simple things. Your eyes always looking for her first in any room, lighting up even after an especially bad pun, tracing her arms when the day becomes too hot to keep her jacket on. You like her, of course. How much time has she been wasting? The breath she lets out feels like it's been waiting to be let go, years spent stuck in her lungs. Ellie wraps her fingers around one of your wrists, her voice sweet, achingly soft. “Want me to tell you why I know I’d like you?”
You lower your arms just slightly, eyes peering up at her.
“Yeah?” she tilts her head.
You nod, arms coming down, unusually quiet.
Ellie grins, victorious. “Okay, but fair warning— it's worse than the coffee thing.”
You chuckle. “Is it?”
“Very.”
“Hm,” you hum, pretending to think about it, distracted by the vision of her practically sitting on top of you. Freckled face framed by the hair that's escaped her usual bun, softly lit by the warmth of the lamp on her desk. “Alright,” you say finally.
It takes Ellie a second to respond, momentarily dazed by the thought of being pretty enough for you to ogle like this. She clears her throat. “You ready?”
You tuck a loose strand of hair behind her ear and away from her eyes. “Sure.”
Ellie waits for the nerves to come, but even as she parts her lips to speak, they never do. What a kind fate. “I know I’d like you because nothing’s ever made more sense to me— I’ve been doing it since I was a kid. I like you enough for a million lifetimes.”
You look at each other, bask in a moment of understanding. Your eyes on her lips, a hand on her waist that pulls her closer. “That was worse,” you agree.
Ellie moves to rest on her forearms, cages you in, her nose brushing against yours. “I told you.”
She waits, feels herself count once again, a final time, one, two—
A hand against the back of her neck brings her in and the quiet noise of her surprise vibrates against your lips, makes her smile into the kiss for just a second before the hunger takes over. Her hips readjusting over yours, knees pressing against your sides, Ellie kisses like it's a need rather than a whim. She takes and takes and swallows every sigh you make like it's a gift, four, five, six seconds of a messy trail of kisses down your neck to say thank you before she resurfaces again.
“Love you,” she breathes out, because suddenly all that talk about ‘like’ feels stupid— immature, incomparable to what she actually feels for you. “Need you.”
You moan against her lips and it's her favorite sound in the whole world, immediately, as quick as realizing she would fall in love with you the day she met you. “Love you, Ellie.”
A kiss to your clavicle, your hands pulling at her shirt and her thigh between yours. She makes you say it three more times.

call me back
fluff (+ a bit of angst) 𐙚 established relationship 𐙚 idol!hoshi x fem!reader 𐙚 wc: 1.6k
. . . fighting with you is never easy for hoshi. especially not when an ocean is separating you
was fighting over the last piece of cake stupid and immature? yes. did it feel like hoshi’s whole world was about to collapse when he noticed you ate it? double yes. while your boyfriend wasn’t known for his great patience and non-existent anger issues, he never took his anger out on you, no matter how frustrated and annoyed he was.
well - until last week.
hoshi came home tired and very, very hungry, nothing out of the ordinary, though you could clearly see he was a lot more agitated than usual, so you did what you always did when he came back exhausted like that - gave him space. you were just about to start your nighttime routine when you heard your name being yelled from the kitchen, and not in a happy “baby, my love, my darling, please come hereeee” kind of way.
you didn’t even get a chance to take a breath as you entered the kitchen, coming face to face with soonyoung and his angry pout. “where the fuck is my cake?” he asked, and now, a week later, his words were still echoing through his head.
it was never his intention to lash out at you like that. obviously. he was tired, and hungry, his muscles were aching, he felt like a bad boyfriend for spending so little time with you, and he forgot to buy a gift for his mom's birthday - not that it mattered, nothing could excuse him for being so mean to you. to make matters worse, instead of acting like a man and begging on his knees for your forgiveness, he chickened out and just left.
“man, why don’t you just don’t call her and apologise?” woozi sighed, throwing his head back because it had to be the tenth time he had to listen to hoshi’s story of how he decided to act like the biggest dick over an overpriced piece of a strawberry cake.
“i did but she’s not answering.”
“no shit, i wouldn’t have answered either.”
and that exactly was the biggest problem - it was hard enough to go through a fight while he was home, but now that he was overseas, a thousand kilometres away from you it was impossible. yes, he could send you flowers and shit, but it would only piss you off even more. there was no way for him to show you how truly fucking sorry he was.
“i know you’re angry with me right now, but please,” hoshi took in a shaky inhale. he couldn’t remember the last time he felt so… sad. “please, just call me back,” that had to be the tenth voicemail he left you ever since he left home.
you, on the other hand, weren’t doing much better. you felt like slapping the shit out of him that night in your apartment, and although you were able to control your sudden surge of violence, you didn’t hold back on cursing him out after he left. you even thought about burning his side of the closet but if you did that you’d lose all of your favourite hoodies and flannels, so you gave up on that too.
after your short rage situation, you sat down at kitchen island, and stared at the empty plate where soonyoung’s cake was supposed to be. how were you supposed to know he’d act like that over a cake? obviously you wouldn’t have eaten it then. you figured your boyfriend must’ve had a really bad day at the rehearsals. the past couple of days were really harsh on him, and if you could you’d wrap him in bubble wrap, a couple of blankets, and cuddle the shit out of him for being so strong through all of this.
all of those excuses for him and still - you couldn’t bring yourself to answer his calls and texts, no matter how much listening to his voicemails broke your heart.
“so, um, i know we’re not talking but i’m just calling to tell you good morning. remember to eat, and um, have a great day, baby.”
the boys were slowly losing their patience too (seungcheol asked mingaho if he could share some of his calming tea) because a grumpy hoshi was never a fun hoshi, plus - they hated seeing their best friend constantly beating himself over your fight. there was something lacking without their performance team leader’s spark.
“should we just call her?” mingyu looked over at soonyoung, who was sitting by himself in the corner of the room. “he looks pathetic, moping around like that,” he snorted.
seungcheol groaned, banging his head on jeonghan's shoulder. as they started to get older he started to feel less like a leader but more like a therapist (he really thought about resigning the day seungkwan came whining about a love triangle he got himself into). “they are adults, they should figure it out between themselves.”
“oh come on, do we have to remind you what we had to do for you when you forgot about your girlfriend's birthday so she would forgive you?” mingyu snickered, and pulled out his phone.
you didn’t know what to expect when you saw mingyu’s picture flash over your phone screen. it definitely had something to do with your boyfriend, that much you gathered, but you weren’t sure you wanted to hear what he had to say. your boyfriend’s words really hurt you, and no matter how much you wanted to forgive him, you weren’t sure you could do it yet.
eventually, you clicked on the green button with a shaky finger. “yes?” you took a deep inhale and prepared yourself for whatever you were about to hear.
“okay, so you know exactly why i’m calling. your boyfriend looks like a kicked puppy, he stopped saying horanghae, he’s dressed all in black and he looks like he drank an entire bottle of soju. i mean, don't worry, he didn't do it because he would be reeling now, but you get what i mean. whatever happened between the two of you, give us back our hoshi."
"well, that was very tactful," you heard coups' voice in the background.
“can you shut up for one second?”
“no, in fact i can’t.”
“okay, boys, i don’t want to interrupt whatever is going on, but i really need to know if he’s doing as bad as you're saying.”
“bad” didn’t even come close to what hoshi was feeling. at this point he was so angry and frustrated at himself for acting like he acted, that seriously had to be one of his lowest points of his life achievements. now you were going to dump him, and he’d have to drown himself in soju, and grow a beard, and write a sad love song that he’d hear at the radio for the rest of his life, and-
there was no way you were calling him right now. and yet, “h-hello? babe?”
“no, the fucking pope,” he’d have to add a cabin in the woods to his list of what he’d do after you’d break up with him. “kwoon soonyoung, you have to be one of the most insufferable, impatient and immature people i know. all this because of a piece of cake? do you hear how childish that sounds?"
loud and clear, honey.
“that’s why i didn’t apologise in the first place. i immediately realised how fucking stupid i acted, and felt so ashamed of saying all of those awful things to you, and so i just left.”
you sighed defeated. you kind of anticipated him saying that - your boyfriend had a habit of doing things before thinking them over, and as much as you understood him being exhausted and overworked, you still couldn’t forget how small he made you feel that night.
“look, i really don’t want to fight, being away from you is hard enough, but…,” you ran a hand over your face. what were you supposed to do? you spent the last three nights on the couch because you couldn’t fall asleep in your shared bed, and there were so many times when you wanted to text him about the most unserious things that only he’d get, but you just couldn’t. “your words really hurt me.”
“i know, shit, i know, and i’m so fucking sorry. whatever i’ll say it won’t be enough, i should’ve apologised right away. fuck, your boyfriend is such a loser,” you heard him laugh, but it was not the usual soonyoung laugh that made the flowers bloom, and sun shine. “i understand if you want to take a break.”
“that’s the thing, i don’t want to take any breaks. i miss you so much. i miss talking to you every night, i miss our silly conversations, i miss getting my daily hoshi boyfriend pics. i’m sick of seeing your face on twitter and not over face time,” you pulled the sleeve of his sweater over your hand, like it would make you feel any closer to him. “let’s take it slow, maybe?”
you could swear you heard soonyoung exhale, “yes, yes, let’s do that. whatever you need, babe,” he said immediately. “my poor baby must’ve been so nervous.”
“i love you, you know,” you whispered. there was no point in making things worse and pretending that you didn't miss him, and even though it would probably be a while before everything went back to normal, you didn't want him to doubt whether you still loved him as much as you did before.
“i love you too. very much,” he whispered back, finally sounding a bit happier. “and baby? thank you for calling me back.

Chapter 2
Chapter One – ‘’Meeting in flesh and blood’’
‘’Right behind you!’’ Irulan screamed as she was riding her horse to match Y/N’s. Y/N was a skilled rider, the wind in her long hair, she laughed at Irulan’s attempt of winning the race and focused on the finish line. Planet Kaitian which was the second Capital of the Corrino Empire had so many opportunities for Padishah Emperor Shaddam’s daughter Irulan and his beloved Y/N. The planet had forests, lakes and rivers so Y/N didn’t miss much of her home planet Caladan, she sometimes tossed and turned in her bed thinking of her family members but she was taken to Kaitain years ago. Irulan and Y/N were the same age and when Shaddam couldn’t have more children he asked Duke Leto Atreides to bring his first born daughter to be sisters with Irulan. Leto tried to find so many ways to refuse Padishah Emperor yet he was the ultimate power in the entire galaxy and Leto had no choice but to give his daughter Y/N. She was one years old when the arrangements were made. She could see her family at political events or celebrations, she had been in Caladan few times yet she felt stranger to the planet and she felt stranger to Kaitain as well. She has always wondered if, by any chance one day she would feel the sensation of ‘’being at home’’ nowhere and no one was her home. Maybe this was her fate.
When she finished the race her horse calmed down, Irulan followed behind. ‘’I swear you’re cheating and I am going to find out.’’ She was joking of course, Irulan and Y/N had a close relationship yet Y/N never forgot that she was a princess and there for needed to be treated more cautiously than the other lords and ladies of the galaxy. Together they hopped off of their horses, ‘’Walk with me.’’ Irulan’s voice was soft yet direct. Her short blonde hair got messy, hem of her white long dress covered in mud, she was carefree when she was with Y/N.
Y/N had the color of her house Atreides. Green. Her green dress felt so light, they were walking on the grass for few minutes in silence., Y/N knew that Irulan wanted to say something.
Palace’s gardens were evergreen, gardeners achieved perfection. Gardens smelled of flowers at any time of the year. Irulan stopped in her tracks, they turned to soak in the scenery before their eyes, the entire planet was under their feet. Servants’ chatters could be heard, no matter what they were never alone. ‘’Soon my father will throw a ball for me.’’ She looked distant, Padishah Emperor Shaddam never had parties without a solid reason, it must be political. Before Y/N could ask Irulan explained simply, ‘’I will meet the man I have to marry.’’ Y/N knew one day that she had to marry someone in order to protect the power they had over the galaxy but she never thought the date would come this quick. Y/N had already a lover, only Irulan knew because he was from a lower house. She had a childish hope that one day she would marry him.
Irulan laughed in sarcasm, ‘’How I wish to be you, sister!’’ it was obvious that Irulan dreaded the situation.
There were no arrangements for Y/N and she was free for a long time or so she thought.
‘’I trust in Emperor’s decision. He won’t wed you to someone unworthy.’’ She tried to encourage her dear friend but Irulan stood there like a stone. ‘’Let’s head back.’’ Y/N said. A hollow silence followed them to the dining hall. Emperor couldn’t attend because he was dealing with preparations of the ball. The white marble fire place was lit and orange colors danced in the room, the dining hall was adorned with lavish furniture and a long wooden table. The wood came from Giedi Prime, it was called Pilingitam.
Irulan seemed troubled, ‘’What’s on your mind sister?’’ Y/N asked. She was concerned for her, if she knew that she had to be concerned for herself…
She watched Irulan’s palm slithering on the Pilingitam table,’’ Majority of the houses will be at the ball,’’ she looked up to meet Y/N’s curious eyes, ‘’The Harkonnens will be too.’’ Y/N’s blood ran cold, she remembered the times where Emperor used to take them to Giedi Prime for political reasons. They had to sit and watch the games in the black and white arena. Gladiators killing each other…
She remembered a boy with pure blue eyes and full lips, ‘’I will fight there too when I’m old enogh.’’ He was sitting next to Y/N in his black outfit. He closed the tiny gap between him and Y/N, and he spoke quietly, ‘’Will you come and watch me?’’ he was speaking as if killing was a normal act. His knee touching Y/N’s, she remembered distinctly that the boy interlaced his little finger with hers. They were ten and yet Y/N could see Baron Vladimir’s influence on his poor nephew.
Y/N didn’t need to go back in her memories to detest the Harkonnens. Their families were in and out of war for centuries. Thankfully for a long time peace was kept. ‘’I will manage.’’ She insured Irulan with a genuine smile yet it wasn’t enough. Y/N brushed it off, after dinner she had mental training anyways.
Until the day of the ball she corresponded with her lover, Pyramus
He was a tall man with dark curls and jet black eyes. His beard always tickled her face.
She spent her days training and accompanying Irulan. Irulan grew restless as the they approached.
One by one the ships started to arrive, one could look up to the busy blue sky and see. Y/N’s family arrived early to see her and spend time with her. Lady Jessica, her mother, immediately questioned her about Y/N’s Bene Gesserit training, Duke Leto was happy to see her daughter once again. Paul, her one year younger brother gave her a tight hug.
They were united once more, she escorted them to their quarters in the palace and retrieved to get ready for the event. She wore a green dress with emeralds on her chest and waist, her maid braided her hair in Atreides style. She also wore an emerald tiara. Paul Atreides knocked on her door to escort her to the ball room, he looked sharp in his dark green suit. ‘’You seem nervous.’’ He questioned, -Y/N knew that her mother was teaching Bene Gesserit ways to her brother,- yes she was nervous because she was going to be reunited with her lover. ‘’Too many people.’’ She responded. Servants were running with food and wine on the corridors, music could be heard from a distance. Members of houses were having conversations about spice, politics, etc.
The doors of the room were open, inside was lit by the yellow warm lights coming from glowglobes, guests laughing and drinking. Tallest member was Baron Vladimir due to hanging in the air, eating like a mad man but she ignored him.
Her eyes searching for her lover, so blind to an outsider who got her under his radar.
Paul and Y/N walked to the table of their house, ‘’You look lovely my girl.’’ Duke Leto kissed her daughter’s forehead, it didn’t go unnoticed by a certain someone. He was a snake, silently slithering close to his prey.
Padishah Emperor Shaddam and his daughter Princess Irulan were announced and slowly entered the room, everyone bowed. They took their seats and Emperor greeted everyone, thanked them for coming to his feast and he also announced that he would choose the life partner of his daughter among his unmarried male guests. Duke Leto found himself watching his daughter with sad eyes, he wondered if he could see her wedding one day. Would she be happy and fortunate like him? Only time would tell but he prayed quietly.
It was time to dance, couples held each others’ hands and marched to the dance floor, Paul excused himself and went to ask the princess to dance with him. Leto happily asked Jessica to dance with him, Y/N wished that they were officially married but to keep his position as a powerful bachelor, other houses worked for him hoping that one day Duke Leto would marry one of their daughters. It was a well played game of chess on Atreides’s part. Y/N watched Irulan and Paul talking silently and dancing.
Soon Pyramus came with a huge smile. He kissed her hand and winked at her, ‘’My beautiful lady, would you be so kind and accompany me on the dance floor?’’ she tried so hard not to grin, ‘’Of course my lord.’’ He was in his house’s color, yellow. Hand in hand they mingled among the other couples, ‘’I’ve missed you.’’ He whispered. ‘’Not here.’’ She used the voice on him and his mouth closed in a second. Only their eyes talked.
They heard a rough cough and turned to face the intruder, Y/N had no idea that she would meet him in flesh and blood, ‘’Feyd…’’

dirty little liar | theodore nott
pairing: theodore nott x reader
genre: fluff, established relationship, shy theo and he’s so cute about it
part of my 1k celebration event !
Theodore Nott (your beloved boyfriend) is a dirty little liar. He wasn’t a good liar at the start of your relationship, and he sure as hell wasn’t one now; sitting pretty on the Slytherin’s common room sofa with his bag a few inches away from him, the flaps open after his attempts at pulling out a quill.
You’re slightly frustrated when you find him, brows furrowed as you scan your surroundings for the small tub you’ve grown so fond off. “Theo, have you seen my lip therapy?”
Theodore cocks his head at your words, feigning cluelessness as to what your ‘lip therapy’ was. “No?” He supplies, sounding unsure of himself.
You don’t really think too much of it though, this was the third time this week you’ve asked him this very question. Each time pretending as if he doesn’t know what it was you’re looking for.
“Are you sure?” You ask again with a slight disappoint glint in your eyes.
He hesitates, wanting to let up yet he’s played this game for too long to let loose of it so easily. “Mhmm,” he hums.
You sigh, taking a seat besides him on the sofa. Your thigh bumps into his bag slightly, knocking out the contents within its pocket. You frown a bit, picking up the items that spills out of it.
Gum. Quill. A few sickles. Eye drops. Another quill. Vaseline lip therapy.
Wait, Vaseline lip therapy?
You hold the small container in your hand, looking up at Theodore suspiciously to only find him looking back at you with a sheepish smile. You have half the mind to throw it at his face and call him a filthy liar while the other half of you want to shut down and take in the utter betrayal from your boyfriend’s actions. Instead, you stay calm and ask him to: “explain yourself.”
Theodore bites the corner of his cheeks, eyeing the tub in your hand carefully. “Uhm— you’ve always had it— it was always laying around, and I knew you used it so kept it for you.”
“You kept it for me?” You ask him, untrusting. Theodore nods. “Then why did you say no when I asked you if you’ve seen it.”
He’s dead. Not figuratively. He just really fucked up, didn’t he? “I forgot?” As if it couldn’t have gotten worse, he gives you the worst lie you’ve ever heard.
“Right.” You’re nodding, and he thinks he might actually get away with it. But things are never that easy, is it? “Tell me the truth or we’re through.”
Surely, you don’t mean— nope, your face is too stern for you to be bluffing. He’s shy when he answers you truthfully: “you’re always using it I just— I wanted to know why you liked it so much so I tried it and just forgot to place it back where I found it.”
“And the other two?”
“Malfoy and Zabini saw me using it and stole it for themselves,” he grunts, clearly annoyed by his friends behaviors. You laugh and he’s the one to frown now. “What?”
“Nothing,” you giggle, “you’re just cute.”
The tip of his ears singes red, cheeks heating at your words. “So you’re not mad at me?”
You laugh again, rolling your eyes playfully as you tossed the small container in his direction. He catches it with ease, eyes shifting between you and the tub. “Just mad enough to remind you that you owe me three of these little replacements.”
When you stand up, his dark eyes are still on yours; lips jutting out slightly as your warmth slips away from the sofa where you sat mere seconds ago. And when you lean down, placing a short kiss on his lips (one he was quick to return) out of pity, you can’t help but comment on how it: “seems like the stolen products were doing its job.”
— from bee: i need to apologize for long it took me to write this, im really sorry bae omg TT

FRACTURED BONDS
pairing: logan howlett x fem!reader wc: 830
warnings: angst, language, fighting, slight jean slander, idk what else
a/n: thanks to everyone who liked, commented, and reblogged on the first part. part two to “something stupid”. this is everywhere, not sure how i feel about this but just wanted to get this out of my drafts. this gave me a headache, since im not hyper fixated like i was in the beginning of the year but hope it’s enjoyable! 🤎
Numbness was all you felt. The field around you lay in ruins, a burnt crater marking where your powers had gone haywire. Trees leaned or lay fallen from the blast, and you could only hope no one had been nearby.
The blue energy slowly dimmed from your hands, its destructive aftermath concealing the calm now settling over you.
Why did you let yourself get attached to Logan? You knew from the start it would lead to heartache. Still hung up on Jean—much to Scott’s displeasure—you were merely a distraction for him, someone to vent his frustrations on.
Shakily, you stood, wiping away tears that seemed never-ending. Transporting back to the castle’s foyer, the usual smile you wore was gone, leaving only a hollow feeling.
“Are you okay? You were gone for a while,” Scott murmured, making you jump, pulling you from your thoughts.
“Yeah yeah, I’m fine just tired. I’m heading to bed,” you replied, waving him off.
He nodded, giving you a sympathetic smile and let you go. Your room had become a place you hardly visited except for the occasional change of clothes.
Changing felt like a chore, your body weak and exhausted. Sleep, you knew would evade you. With a wave of your hand, you locked the door and placed runes on the walls to block out everything and everyone.
—
After a night of minimal sleep, teaching was the last thing on your mind. But you loved your students, and it wasn’t their fault you got “dumped”. On your way to the classroom, Rogue pulled you aside.
“Where were you last night? Logan was screaming and thrashing around in his sleep! Nobody could contact you, and it took forever to calm him down,” she exclaimed, dark circles under her eyes.
“Sorry, guess I was knocked out,” you shrugged. As much as you wanted to feel bad, you didn’t. Logan used you and then discarded you like you were nothing.
Rogue looked ready to defend him but couldn't find the words. Not wanting to hear it, you walked away and went to class.
In the classroom, the students fell silent and went to their seats—unusual behavior for them.
Lost in your thoughts, you barely noticed Logan standing next to the mat, arms crossed with his usual scowl.
“Mr. Howlett, apologies. I forgot you’d be joining us today,” you said curtly before turning your attention to the students.
Their shocked murmurs filled the room, noticing your cold demeanor towards Logan, contrasting sharply with your usual flirtation and sunshine behavior.
As class progressed, the tension grew. Logan’s patience with the kids wore thin, while you on the other hand calmly corrected their mistakes.
“Fucking hell, kid! Don’t swing so wide when throwing a punch! You’re—”
“Logan! Language!” you shouted. “That’s why we’re teaching them!”
He huffed, ready to retort, but you silenced him with a flick of your hand, making the room erupt in laughter.
“Let’s demonstrate then,” you said, clapping your hands.
He begrudgingly walked to the mat. “Don’t think I’ll go easy on you, sweetheart,” he whispered.
“Please, as if that was a concern bub,” you smirked.
He threw the first punch, which you quickly dodged, transporting behind him and kicking his leg, making his knee hit the mat. He tried to swipe his other leg under yours, but you froze it in place.
“Using your powers isn’t cheating. You want to use your abilities to get out of tough situations.” You addressed the class.
Releasing him, he stood and grabbed your arm, twisting it behind your back. “But you shouldn’t rely on them in case they fail you one day!” he argued.
Suppressing a laugh, you maneuvered out of his hold, flipping him onto his back. He huffed and glared at you.
Although he never voiced it, Logan constantly underestimated your powers. You and Jean were similar, but you had control ninety-seven percent of the time. You didn’t know what she had that you didn’t.
Abruptly standing up, you dismissed the class. As the students exited, you didn’t spare Logan a glance and walked out with them.
—
Word travels fast among mutants. Ororo tried to help you as best as she could, but she knew you’d need time. Jean gives you sympathetic glances, and you managed small smiles in return. It wasn’t her fault; Logan just likes to think there’s a cat-and-mouse game between them, even though she rejected his advances. And Scott just added it to his list of reasons to hate him.
Logan ignores you as if you don’t exist. It hurts, but you after years of practice, it wasn’t hard to do the same.
Behind closed doors, you let your mask slip, crying for hours and replaying the good times in your head. As much as you wished Logan would take you back, you knew he’d never fully love or let you in.
He wanted what he couldn’t have, and you wanted him. Destined to never get what you truly wanted.

Leaked | Part Two
Summary: Kylian realized he made a mistake with you. Sadly, it was a little too late.
Warnings: cursing, mentions of cheating, gaslight, pregnancy talk.
A/N: sorry about the time, life got crazy but I fix it and now I'm back.
Part one
The vibration of the phone is what woke him up. The bothering feeling was making him uncomfortable, eyes opening up.
"Yes?" He asks, raspy voice.
"Kylian, good morning." He hears the Mister voice. "Sorry to bother you this early, I need you to come downstairs to meet me and Mister Florentino."
"Mister, Buenos días." He says in Spanish. "I'll be there, give me five minutes."
He hung the phone, getting up and walking to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth.
He puts on a tracksuit, looking at you. So peaceful, so sleepy. You were so calm, nothing bothering your mind.
He grabs his phone. Noticing that it died because he forgot to charge it. Thankfully it lasted enough to get the call.
Walking to your side, he gave a kiss to your shoulder and hair. Smiling at the small, sleepy smile you give at the feeling of love.
He left the room, PowerBank in hand, and phone in the other. He was calmed, thinking it was a call because of the strategy he planned with the Mister.
He happily walked over to the small reunion room the club asked the hotel to reserve for them. He sees the lawyer of the club, Florentino, and the Mister.
"Buenos días." He smiles. "Sorry about the wait. I was sleeping." He smiles, shaking hand with them.
"This is Gonzalo, he's our lawyer." Florentino says.
"I know, nice to see you again." He smiles at Gonzalo.
He nods, looking at both Florentino and Ancelotti. They just nod and turb back to him. "Kylian, I don't know if you looked at your phone before coming here."
He frowns, not caring about his phone because it is dead. "It's dead." He smiles, lifting his phone that was connected to his powerbank.
"What we are about to show you, we know it's not going to be easy to overcome." Ancelotti says. "Gonzalo, please."
He opens the iPad he has next to him. Turning it to him to show him the news article. "I know you have a private life. We are not going to judge your life, we just want you to know how you would like to know how you would like us to proceed."
He's blank.
He can't even read the full article. His mind goes to the pictures of her.
Her.
"Do you want me to bring some champagne?"
He nods, unbottoning his pants and leaving them aside. He turns the water off, moving back into his room to change the Playlist.
He sees his phone, opens it, and notices he has a message from you. He opens it, looking at the picture you sent him. You were opening the gift he sent you.
He feels his stomach turn. You thank him for always spoiling you. Telling him that when you see him, you'll try to make it up.
Make it up for a gift he sent you because he feels bad that he's sharing his bed with another girl that's not you.
"I got the champagne." Silvia says.
He turns the do not disturb mode. Leaving his phone on the nightstand. He feels the cold lips on his back.
"I talked to your mom." She says, serving a bit of the gold liquid into the glass. "I reserved the table at the restaurant you asked." She smiles. "And I got the special room."
He thanks her, grabbing the glass from her hand and drinking the champagne like a shot. "Take that off. Let's get into the water." He chuckles, moving the bra strap down her shoulder.
He walks into the bathroom, taking his boxers off and entering the water of the jacuzzi. His body relaxed at the warm of the water.
He feels her body sticking to his, her legs on each side of him. "I love you." She says. "Ethan and I were talking about having another trip together with your family."
He throws his head back. Body tensing at how much guilt he feels that you are happy at home, thinking he had a nice gesture with you. Meanwhile, he's talking about future plans with another woman.
He opens his eyes, looking at her. Her hair remains him of you. "I'll leave my card with you tomorrow, I remember how much you wanted to change your hair color." He lies.
Silvia loves her hair. She thinks it's cute and natural. But Kylian needs to have a difference between you and her.
"Did I?" She asks, confused. "I feel good with my color."
"You told me that." He lies again. "Remember, you even showed me that picture of that actress."
Her frown is hard, she's trying to remember who he's talking about. "Who?"
She curse in his mind. "The one from that movie with the French actor." He says, thinking about the last movie he saw with you. "Flower?"
"Flower?" She repeats. "Are you talking about Florence Pugh?" Silvia laughs. "I don't remember, but if you liked that, I'll do it."
He smiles, happy that he got what he wanted. Silvia was easy to convince. Even when she didn't like the idea, she would do it for him.
"But why?" She cries. "I thought you loved me."
"Sil, amour." He sighs, tired. "I think you need to find someone who can be with you like you want to."
She sobs into her hands once again, making him roll his eyes. Why was she so dramatic?
"Stop it, please." He taps her head. "I'll send you that pretty bag you like to make it up." He smiles.
She lifts her head, slapping his hand away. "I don't want a bag, Kylian." She yells. "I want compromise."
"I can't give you that." He scuffs. "I told you, I'll make it up. Take it or leave it."
Silvia shakes her head, trying to get composure.
"Is it because I thought I was pregnant?" She asks, sad.
He makes a face, he didn't even thought of that.
"No." He says, very dry.
"Then explain it to me."
"I don't like you anymore." He says, not caring if he's hurting her. "There, you wanted the truth."
Her eyes fill with tears, making him feel tired and want for her to stop and leave. "But I love you."
"Well, I don't." He gets up from bed. "I need to go to training, pack your things, I'll send you your flight information."
She tries calling his name. She even ran after him. "I'll be better, please, Ky."
He presses the elevator button, turning to her right after. He doesn't even care if she gets on her knees.
"If you don't get to pack everything, I'll send it over to your house." He says, hearing the ring of the elevator door opening. "Just be out before five." He smiles, winking at her.
He takes his phone out of his pocket, opening the message you sent him. It was about you packing your thing, telling him how happy you are to see him.
He calls you. "My love." He smiles, happy that you answer his facetime. "Ready to flight?"
"Hi, my love." You say to him, placing the phone. "I'm finishing with the packing, and then I'll leave to the airport."
He smiles at how cute you look, his jersey of the real madrid looking cute on you. "Bring that bikini I love." He teasily smiles.
"It's already packed." You shily says. "Are you going to train?"
"Oui, wish me luck." He chuckles. "Right after we are meeting the team to leave."
"Have fun today, okay?" You softly say. "I love you."
"I love you more." He says, honest about his feelings. "When you land and get to the hotel, tell me."
"Oui oui." You laugh. "I have to make a work call before leaving, so I'll see you soon, amour." You smile, sending him a kiss.
He smiles at his phone. Sending you a kiss. If only his friends would see him doing that. They would laugh at how comical he would look.
"Love you, bye."
Gonzalo calls his name again. Making him go back to reality. He noticed the now black screen of the iPad.
"I know it's hard." Gonzalo says. "But, we were thinking that maybe we can put out a statement and try to deny this."
"Would this work?" He asks. He's worried.
"We can blame it on AI." Gonzalo says. "I think this would be hard on your partner but it's for the better."
He clears his throat. "She's not." He pauses, feeling embarrassed. "She's not my partner."
Gonzalo lifts his hands. "Don't have to give me any explanation." He smiles. "Just know she would get some heat because of this."
"I don't care about her." He says, harsh but honest. "Just please fix this."
Gonzalo nods, turning to Florentino and to Ancelotti. They nod, too. "I'll work right now on the statement, I'll send it to your lawyer and manager."
Kylian thanks him. Shaking his hands as he stood up and left the room. "I'm sorry, Mister." He says. "I'm sorry, Mister Perez."
"Don't, we know this wasn't something you planned." Florentino smiles. "Just don't worry about it and focus on the game."
"Will do, sir, thank you for understanding."
"Relax, Kylian." Carlo says. "Go take a cold shower, and don't worry about checking social media."
He nods. Thanking them again, and walking back upstairs. He checks his messages, answering the one from his mom.
> Don't log into x or Instagram. <
> Why? What did you do? <
> Trust me on this. Just let me fix something and I'll call you. <
He doesn't want to get into the room. He has a feeling. He opens the door, hearing a sniff.
His heart broke, and his stomach dropped. Your teary eyes, your wet cheeks. You follow his eyes, letting a sob out of your mouth.
You cry into your hands.
It's like a dejavu of Silvia crying into her hands. Except this time he cares. He cares about your feelings, he cares about your sobs.
He wants to ask you to slap him, to yell at him. He wants you to do anything, but leave. He can't help but breathe hard.
He follows you with his eyes, you slam the door of the bathroom. He throws himself on the bed. Cursing at himself for being so stupid.
He feels his phone vibrate, Silvia's name showing up. He declined the call, texting her that he would call her later.
She tries again. He just sits back on the bed, declining the call once again.
> Kylian, answer
> I need to talk to you
> why is your lawyer calling me?
> You think I did this?
> love, just answer. I know we ended bad, but I'll never. <
He left the phone on the side, airplane mode on.
You open the door, red puffy eyes. He wants to cry just by the look of you. You move to your luggage, packing the things you have outside of it.
He's petrified, he can't move for the love of God. He's into this state where he can't really do anything because he fears you would react bad to it.
The conversation with you feels like a fever dream. He wants to hit himself, he wants to undo his mistakes and prioritize you over anybody.
Reality hits him. You left the room, he needs to go after you. He opens the door quickly, finding Gonzalo outside.
"Hey, thank God you answered." He sighs.
He enters the room, making kylian whine. "Can you wait for me here?" He says. "Just a moment."
He doesn't wait for the answer. He runs to the stairs. He needs to find you. He thanks the stars that he's an elite athlete because he gets to be on the lobby in no time.
Sadly for him, he can't find you. Not there, not on the parking, not on the elevators. You disappeared.
He wants to scream.
He then moves back to his room. Knocking on the door for Gonzalo to open it. "Sorry."
Gonzalo just nods, not understanding but not wanting to ask. "I sent the statement to your team, they approved it."
Kylian just nods.
"Also, the majority of the people on social media are saying they belive its fake because even when the.pictures with your family are there, she's always in the corner so it looks well edited."
He feels weird, Silvia never edited anything. It was all real.
"Post it." He says. "I don't want to deal with this shit anymore." He sighs. "I'm sorry I dragged you into this."
Gonzalo nods, giving him an understanding smile. "Don't worry, Ky."
Gonzalo tells him that the social media team posted the statement and that he didn't have to worry, he won't get any interviews, and that he needs to stick to the AI story.
"Can you please try again?" He asks to his assistant. "I know she doesn't live there anymore, but just offer the landlord anything in exchange of some information."
She nods, tired of the situation but obeying her boss. "I'll try." She says.
He's tried of contacting you, he tried to call your phone, he's blocked.
He tried going to your house, you moved.
He tried sending something to your workplace. You were on vacation.
He tried.
But he can't find you. He feels like he needs you to allow him to be able to feel something for him to actually feel some sort of joy, some anger, something.
He's not doing well in football. Everybody knows.
His family forced an explanation out of him. Safe to say that his mother reaction was the calmest of them all.
He not only told them about the Silvia leaked situation, he told them about you.
Fayza was mad. She didn't raise a cheater and low mannered man for him to think that it was okay to do what he did.
He tried to explain that it was all because him and Silvia were a no label thing, and he thought it was a good idea to do it, but his mother just asked him to save it.
You can't even begin to explain how much of a roller-coaster it was your life. You wanted to dissappear from he world.
You can't even justify your sadness to your friends and co-workers, mostly because only one person knew about you two.
> it's like being a ghost <
You were a ghost in his life. You were just the side pick-up girl for when his actual girlfriend was busy.
> she knows his family, you know what the hotel rooms in Madrid look like <
You took a week off of work. Lying that you needed to deal with some family member funeral.
Your boss was naive, he said yes without asking for any documentation. That and the fact that he was put with his own side piece.
"Have you been stressed lately?" The doctor asks you.
You nod, cleaning the gel from your skin. "Stress is my middle name." You joke with her.
She laughs at your joke, "Then that's your answer." She smiles. "The pharmacy test was defective. Let's trust the blood test and the ultrasound."
You nod, feeling like your life gained a little bit of composure. Finally something negative that was good.
"Will do." You smile. "Thank you." You say to her. Letting her explain again the caring you need to do.
"See you in a few months for your routine tests."
You wave goodbye at her. Walking outside of the office. You feel happy that you didn't have ti worry about that problem anymore.
But even if you feel relief, a part of you was sad.
> "Do you like the name Pipper?" He asks, smiling at you.
"Pipper" you repeat, thinking about the name. "It's beautiful." You say, kissing his lips.
"If it's a girl I think Pipper would be good." He says, daydreaming about you. "Maybe Carter, that's very strong."
"I like your name, but I wouldn't name my kid Jr." You laugh, making him laugh. "No Kylian Jr here."
He then gets close to you, kissing your lips. You smile into the kiss, loving the warmth feeling that only he can make you feel.
Your smile grows wider when he then moves his lips to your belly. He hugs your waist and lays his head there.
"So, Pipper?" He asks again, making you chuckle happy. <
You feel empty.
"I'm not sure if it's her actual address but I think it is."
He raises an eyebrow. "I'll have to trust it." He sighs. "Whatever you do, don't tell my mother or anybody of this."
"My lips are sealed." She says, sending him the information before hanging up the call.
He asks his driver to take him to the address. He's anxious, what if you choose to slam the door on his face?
Well, he can't really fight the idea, he deserves that, but what if he finds our that you moved on?
He can't even fully think about it.
Be can't bare the idea of you with another person.
But you didn't also thought that would be possible and it was.
He places the hoodie and glasses as a mechanism of cover up. He doesn't want to create new news.
The building was an open door access, the elevators weren't, you needed a pass or to ring the doorbell to be let inside.
He was about to press the doorbell of a apartment when a delivery guy was about to exit the elevator area. Hands full to the point he was struggling to keep the door open.
"Here, let me help you." Kylian smiles.
"Merci, sir." The guy smiles. "Have a nice day." He says.
Kylian entered the elevator, fingers pressing the button of your floor. He can feel the sweat on his hands.
He walks slowly to your door, feeling scared of even thinking about knocking on the door. He wants to gain composure first.
He then knocks on the door. Three dry knocks. His knuckles are burning at the sensation. Not because he knocked hard, but because of the weight of the action.
He hears you saying "I'm coming." In that sweet voice of you. His heart starts beating like it used to, before you leave.
Before he made you leave.
You open the door with a smile. Smile that fades after realizing who was on the other side of the door.
"I'll I ask is for you to hear me out." He says. "Just let me explain myself."
You don't want to, but you have to. This was the last step you would take. You nod, opening the door and stepping aside for him to be able to walk inside.
He does, entering your house. It was way different from your last place. He can sense the vibe of growth.
Your taste changed, you don't have those crazy decorations or those funny little looking plants. He stands up there, looking at everything.
"You changed your vibe." He says, trying to make conversation.
"Can you stop with the mannerisms?" You ask him, tired. "Just talk, please."
He feels a shiver down his spine. You were so serious, so harsh. Never have you ever before. Not with him.
"I-" He tries. Way too nervous to even formulate a sentence. He can tell you changed but he can't even began apologize. "I'm sorry."
You lift an eyebrow, was that all?
"I'm sorry I hurt you with everything that happened." He tries again. "This girl and I, we were in a no label kind of thing. She wasn't my girlfriend, and I was leaving her when I met you."
He pauses, trying to get the time-line in order for him to explain it to you.
"You really change my life, for the better." He shows a little smile. "I never felt the way I did with anybody, you were the only one who I was telling I love you to. You were the one who I was worried about, and I know sounds like-"
"Like bullshit." You say, rolling your eyes.
"Okay, like bullshit." He clears his throat. "I didn't introduced her to my parents, she showed up one day at my house and I couldn't do anything. The family trip, she find out about the information because she went through my stuffs." He explains.
He was mad this kinda looked like he was then one who did all of that for her. No, she was the one appearing at the places.
"And I couldn't really get her to stay away." He sighs. "I wanted it to be you, I was just to much of a pussy to ever confronted her and tell everyone the truth. And in my mind, it was so smart to keep you both. I love you, I don't love her, she was just someone I couldn't get rid off."
"You?" You ask, laughing a little. "The Kylian Mbappé." You put emphasis on his name. "You couldn't get this girl to stop coming to your private property? Appearing to your private villas or exclusive hotels? You couldn't stop her from going to your house? You couldn't be honest with me when I asked you if you had a girlfriend or someone in your life? That was the night we met. You've been lying to me since then."
"I didn't have her." He defends himself. "She was just a hit and run."
"No, she wasn't." You argue back. "She was someone who you let into your private life, who you let keep coming. You let your parents think she was your girlfriend, you let your brother call her sister in law, you let your friend meet her." You point at every single one that she met. "You took her to your house." You say, eyes shinning from sadness. "I was in a hotel room. Thinking that maybe I wasn't good enough to meet your family and friends. Maybe it was my job, maybe it was my style, maybe it was me."
His stomach turns, he never wanted you to feel that way. But it was his own fault.
"I thought that maybe you just wanted to test what our relationship was about." You say. "You talked to me about having kids, you told me that you wanted our wedding to be in Monaco." You bitterly laugh. "I was dumb enough to believed that you love me."
"No." He says, the stern tone was harsh. "I do, I love you."
"This isn't love, Kylian." You say with a serious expression. "You can try and manipulate all these ideas of you being the victim." You say, catching onto his manipulation. "You can try and say > oh but she was the one who showed up < but that doesn't changed the fact that you let her stayed, you let your family and your friends believe that she was your partner. You let her showed up at family events. Do you even see the common denominator? It's you."
"I'm sorry." He says, head hanging low.
You wait a few seconds, you wanted to gave him the first word in case he wanted to keep explaining the whole situation to you.
"I need to apologize too." You say, trying to not sound so harsh as before.
"You do?" He asks, hoping that maybe this would be his chance.
"Yes." You smile. "I'm sorry I was so naive to think that you were ever going to take me seriously." You began.
He was about to interrupt, but you won't allow it.
"I'm sorry I was the one who allowed you to treat me like a booty call. Like one of your one night stands for so long." You have this cynical smile. "I'm sorry I ever trusted you with blind eyes. That I let you believe your gifts, your expensive shit were a replacenent of your time and caring."
"Y/n, amou-"
"I'm done, Kylian." You say. "I would never trust you again. No matter how much you try, how much you wish things were differently, they aren't. And I can admit my mistakes, Kylian."
"Y/n-"
"But I guess that's the fucking difference between you and me."
"We can make it work, I-" He begs, but you interrupted again.
"I can't believe I actually loved you."

𝓝ote this is a sneak-peak of the actual story, this is the first story I’ve ever posted on tumblr so if you see anything that I can improve, please let me know. I want the first story I post to be good enough for me to be motivated to keep writing!
This is purely fiction and is not meant to interpret how the idols act in real life!
,, not proofread + english is not my first language ! ೃ⁀➷
Flashing lights, loud music and the smell of sweaty bodies. That’s what most clubs look like, and this one was no different.
It was Ryujins 19th birthday, and she wanted to celebrate it with just her closest friends and her girlfriend. That’s why Y/N agreed to it in the first place. She’s not used to social settings and spends most of her time stressing over finals, so being forced into a social setting wasn't making her any less stressed. Her and Ryujin are the complete opposite of each other and she can’t really remember how they became best friends, but somehow they did. And that’s why she’s in this position right now, pressed between strangers in a club that reeked of alcohol, dressed in a skimpy black dress that barely covered her up.
“Hey Y/N, get me another drink will ya’!” Ryujin shouted and laughed, fully intoxicated. “I don’t really think that’s a good idea Ryu” I said, a little worried about her condition “you’ve had a lot already” I tell her, hoping she would just give up “It’s fineee, I’m fineee, trust!” She laughed and grabbed another beer. I tried to stop her but she was too fast. I just gave up and sighed, trying to reason with her when she’s drunk is like trying to argue with a wall “You’re gonna throw up later I’ll tell you that.” I grabbed my lighter and walked outside for a smoke, leaving her to Yeji, her girlfriend. I love Ryujin, but sometimes she can be a handful to look after.
I walk out on the balcony, leaning against the rack and admire the glowing night sky, letting the cold wind run over my body. It’s a relaxing moment until I hear someone approaching and I assume it’s either Ryujin or Yeji, until they lean against the rack beside me. Build too big to be either of them, I look over in their direction. A tall, hot guy with glasses stands there. He lights a cigarette and looks over to me. I forgot how to breathe for a moment, embarrassed, I looked away slightly. When I look back to see if he’s still there, we make eye contact. He’s close enough that I can feel the heat roaming around him. And I can't tell if it’s the embarrassment or the close contact with the man that makes my cheeks heat up, but I’d rather not find out.
I take a look at the man in front of me, scanning him up and down. Dressed in a suit too fine to be worn at a basic club, hair styled in a way that makes it look almost untouched, and his eyes, his eyes were so easy to get lost in. I snap out of it when I realize I’d been staring for a while, a slight smirk on the man's lips as he leans down to my level.
“Take a picture, it’ll last longer”

Resurrected Morro head canons because I’m supremely bored+the ninja:
Morro cusses everyone out every two seconds. There is no ‘soft side’ this mf is a sword that never loses its edge.
Because of Wu and only Wu, Morro is a sarcastic little loser. He will not hold back on insulting someone either.
He’s actually surprisingly quiet most of the time, like even his footsteps are near silent. The ninja have gotten jump-scared by him more than they ever did when he was dead.
He cannot handle any sort of affection, care, or love given to him. Like he can very rarely do it himself with no sweat, he’s complimented Nya’s skill or Cole’s strength hundreds of times, but if anyone like Kai or Wu (two individuals known to train daily and know all that bull inside out) were to compliment him he’s suddenly a tomato. He’ll start looking away from you, acting all nonchalant but everyone can hear the way his voice goes higher each second another compliment is thrown at him.
Morro likes floating in the air, even if it’s just casually hovering or just sitting in the air he likes doing it. One time, Pixal dragged in a pile of vengestone to use for a project or something and this mf fell HARD on to the ground. As much as Pixal felt guilty, she would do it again since it helped her realise Morro was hiding some broken ribs.
Morro walks into doors, or walls, blinks, and walks away like nothing happened. (he’s trying to ignore Jay’s laughter)
After Morro and Wu reconciled and Lloyd and Morro began getting along he heard the two talking about how it would be cool if Morro could look more like Wu, just so people would stop calling Morro his ‘adopted’ son (thats his baby, nothing else) and so Lloyd doesn’t have to say Morro is just in his emo phase. As much as the convo was a joke, Morro took it seriously and the next day both Wu and Lloyd almost burst into either tears or shocked laughter when they saw the green streak was replaced by a blonde.
Morro actually isn’t emo, or goth, or punk. He’s all three at once and yet none at the same time. (Don’t be surprised when you see him wearing spiked bracelets and a pink shirt from Zane). To put it basically he has no fashion sense he just throws things together as long as it’s baggy and easy to deal with.
Edit: forgot to add, he’s old. This guy dresses like Wu and enjoys traditional clothing more than anything. He only wears anything different when going to the city and it’s still rlly baggy and basic. He somehow still rocks it.
Morro does not buy his own clothes, he just steals everyone else’s (Lloyd convinced him to do it with him.)
Even after Morro and Kai dealt with their issue they act like a toxic asian couple who are on the verge of divorce.
Cole likes to pick up the small members of the group, like Jay or Lloyd. Morro has become a victim and he bites.
He really likes reading. And history. After Lloyd introduced Misako to him they both got along so well they began sharing stories of Wu, Lloyd and Garmadon. All three are horrified at what those two know.
When Morro is floating in like a standing position, Nya likes falling out of the air or smth (she lowkey just appears) and falls on to his shoulder and stays there. Morro has learnt to accept his position as a chair.
Morro actually knows how to cook but doesn’t enjoy doing it, so Zane just kinda stares at him and pulls out something he knows Morro would want and suddenly you have two chefs with frilly pink aprons on. One is scowling as he beats the eggs and the other is smiling like he has no worries with sparkles and everything.
Morro has convinced the ninja one by one to join him in making a tornado out of each of their elements. Wu is not amused.
A lot of people headcanon Morro to not be able to do spinjitzu, so I say the reason behind that is because mini Morro was forbidden to do so by young Wu to use spinjitzu after he kept making tornados and the such and destroying part of the monastery. Morro unintentionally kept following it until one day he was asked by Lloyd why he never use it. Slowly but surely he came to the realisation it was Wu’s fault and pointed at him going like “IT WAS YOU!” And this old man was snorted into his tea. He forgot he forbade him.
When Morro gets resurrected he uses some sketchy magic book to summon Garmadon cause he was bored and wanted to someone to mess with (he missed his annoying uncle) (he called Lloyd in two second later and recorded him bursting into tears, both of them) (he froze and sweat dropped when he heard four armed Garmadon say something about his soul hurting last night.)
He’s like a hermit and a hobo combined.
As much as Morro can read, he can’t write, and as much as Lloyd can write, he can’t read. They join forces in deciphering scrolls.
Morro and Lloyd get along like burning trash. They happily cuss each other out and bully each other on a daily, they even call back to past traumas. Yet five seconds later Lloyd flops down onto a tired Morro and says “Hey do you wanna get ice cream with me? I found this place that i think would rlly suit your taste” and even after the both argue the whole time they take getting there the Lloyd actually was hoping Morro would like it because they had old man flavours. And even after Morro acts like he couldn’t care less and that Lloyd acts like a lil baby, he buys them both ice cream.
Okok im done i might do this for the other ninja i miss them ajgdjshs

Hello Beautiful!! I wanted to make a request for a fluffy lando one-shot with this audio:
https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSYHshk8e/
I saw it on TikTok and I just thought like what if the reader nickname/middle name is ‘aurora’ like after the princess and lando likes to call her that and people pick up on it and ask him about it,(I don’t know what I was think about at that moment but I just had to make a request😭)
thank uu
anon love you are the best ever wtf. aurora was my favourite disney princess growing up this is so healing!
tw: fem!reader, swears maybe, me loving this idea but knot know what exactly to write (yes that is a warning)
w/c: 977
the first time lando had met your family he was utterly confused. you were all having a dinner for your family to meet lando and as soon as you walked in with lando, hand in hand, your grandma greeted you with a shout of "oh hello aurora! how are you sweetie?" she is walking over with open arms.
lando stands back to let you greet your grandma, now desperate to ask you about the name. your grandma loved lando just like the rest of your family. it seemed like your entire family called you by the name of the familiar disney princess. once he got over his confusion he did find it cute.
on the drive home lando had waited until you were out of your parents' street before he was asking you about it. his smile wide and eager to know what the backstory was behind the nickname. lando does keep his eyes on the road but he glances in your direction to revel in your flushed cheeks.
"i was completely obsessed with sleeping beauty when i was little. my gran started calling me and it just caught on. it's so embarrassing i actually forgot all about it until she said it, i'm so used to it." you confess, all shy.
lando cannot keep his smile hidden. "awe, baby. that's so fucking cute. can i call you aurora too?" he asks, desperate to be in on this too, especially after finding out how much you loved the character when you were younger. finding things like this out made him fall in love with you more and more every single time.
"lando!" you whine in annoyance think he was just taking the piss and just wanted to tease you about your childhood nickname. you were already so embarrassed and here he was trying to make it ten times worse.
"what? i'm being serious. i know you don't like it when i call you princess so this is kind of like my way around it, isn't it? because we both you know you're my passenger princess!" lando cannot help himself and throws in a little joke.
although it was lighthearted you could tell he was being serious and you thought your heart was going to melt. you agree to his idea because even if you did hate the idea (which you did not, not even for a millisecond) you could literally never say no to your boyfriend. he sure as fuck knew how to work those pretty little puppy dog eyes when he wanted to.
it did take a little of getting used to for lando. he had always been big on pet names and things like that so in that respect it was easy. he just found it difficult to switch from his usuals to 'aurora' but he loved the idea way too much to give up on it. the boy had even changed your contact name on his phone to ‘my aurora' which did make you swoon. you would never tell him that though, the boy's ego way far too big as it was.
eventually the both of you (lando more than you) fell into the swing of things. it had even gotten to the point where lando had started you calling the nickname to others around him, too.
both him and oscar were sat in the middle of an interview and one of the questions had been something along the lines of "top five best date ideas" and lando had immediately thought about where he had taken you and what you had seemed to like the most. he sat hard in thought, really trying hard with his answers. oscar goes first and describes his favourite date ideas to the interviewer.
"lando? what about you?" the man asks lando as he finally zones back in after his name is called out.
"uh i'm just trying to think where aurora likes to go. i like to go where she likes to go on dates." lando explains although it seems to confuse both boys further.
"aurora?" oscar asks. he then asks about you and how he had not informed him that you two had broken up, oscar seemingly forgetting that he was currently getting filmed at that exact moment. lando had not forgotten though. he stutters his way through his answer as oscar looks at him confused and the interviewer even more so.
"no i- we have." he sighs " we're still together. i just call her that. it's an inside thing." he does not feel like telling everyone why he calls you that. he wants to keep some things private if he can help it.
that night as lando recalls the moment to you while he lays with you in the hotel bed. he has you basically sitting on top of him, arms winding around you to keep you pressed against him. his chin rested on your head and you could feel his jaw moving as he spoke, refusing to move it from its resting place. you laugh in his arms at the incident.
"did you mean to?"
"no! i just slipped out. guess i've just got used to calling you that." lando laughs. it lights up your heart in a way you never know to be possible until you had met lando. he had made you feel things you had never felt before. the butterflies were tenfold with him. like when his mouth comes down to press a series of kisses into your hair as you hum.
"i thought i'd hate it but i actually love it." you inform him.
"you always give in to me eventually." lando smirks as he teases you.
you roll your eyes even though he cannot see you because you are hidden in his chest. you press a single kiss against his clothes chest before you mutter a 'goodnight' to your boyfriend.

Can I call you?
Two missed calls from: Jungkook
Jungkook [Wednesday, May 9th, 9:33 am]
Are you sick? Do you need something? I can drop by later today after work
I’m worried
Why are you not responding????
YN?
You [Wednesday, May 9th 06:15 pm]
Jungkook, sorry I have been MIA this past few days. I needed some time to think and I decided I want to keep some distance between us from now on.
Jungkook [Wednesday, May 9th 06:23 pm]
What are you talking about? I thought we were good.
Did Soojin say something to you?
You [Wednesday, May 9th 06:25 pm]
No, nothing happened. Soojin accepted my apology and she decided to move on, as I think we all should.
It was solely my decision and I need you to respect it
One missed call from: Jungkook
Jungkook [Wednesday, May 9th 06:26 pm]
You won’t even answer my calls?
Come on YN, this is ridiculous
Jungkook [Wednesday, May 9th 08:15 pm]
Fine. I’ll respect your decision. Can I at least talk to you in person about it?
Please
“You’ve been staring at your phone for the past ten minutes, babe. Jungkook’s not going jump out of it, you can calm down for a sec.” Dahyun says from her place on your couch.
It’s Wednesday and Wednesdays for Dahyun are reserved for self-care, which often means trying out new face mask recipes she saw on TikTok. And since, as she stated a long time ago, “You’re my bestest friend, ever, ___” you are obligated to take part in it as well. If you refuse to participate, you should gear up for the Cheong Dahyun’s wrath.
That’s why you’re currently soaking your feet in a mixture of soap, bathing oils and a secret ingredient Dahyun doesn’t want to disclose, with a hydrating sheet mask on your face.
You lock your phone and throw it to the other side of the couch. “I should probably just ignore him completely.”
Dahyun rips off her sheet mask in a way too dramatic manner and turns to look at you. “And let that she-devil win? Fuck, no!” she blurts out.
You snort. “She-devil?”
“I would call her the b-word but I’m trying to cut down on derogatory terms when referring to women, even those who deserve to be called that,” she explains, massaging her neck with the sheet mask’s oily residue. “Anyway, I think you should tell Jungkook the truth. She’s manipulating both you and him!”
“If a say a word to Jungkook, she’s going to write a post on her social media and not only expose me, but also accuse of having an affair with him.” you reason.
“Just tell Jungkook she’s threatening you. He’s going to see right-through her bullshit, leave her alone and be with you,” Dahyun shrugs like your predicament isn’t complex at all, and motions for you to take your feet out of the water. She tosses you a white towel and hands an opaque container. “Now put that onto your feet. Girls on TikTok are saying they will feel like heaven. And smell like lavender too!”
You scoop the cream onto your nail and sigh. “It’s not that easy. She is his wife and he loves her, of course he will take her side. He might not even believe me,” you say. Your eyebrows involuntarily rise, inhaling the cream’s scent. “It does smell like lavender.”
Dahyun makes ‘I told you so’ face before replying, “You’ve got twenty years of friendship on her.”
“And unrequited crush, and a whole book about it.” you point out.
“I forgot how complicated your life has become these days,” Dahyun says, shaking her head. “So what? You’re just going to give up? Ignore his messages, calls, don’t answer the door when he’s on the other side, hide in the bush when you’ll randomly see him on the street and only contact him once a year for his birthday?” she asks.
Initially, your plan was to wait a few weeks after your confrontation with Soojin and eventually things would get back to normal, slowly and steadily. You’re used to being on stand-by, after all. But that was before you actually met up with her to talk. Before she’s threatened to reveal your biggest secret to the whole world. Variété would never grant you another book deal after such scandal. You would be ruined for good and blacklisted by every single publishing company in this country. You can’t risk your career like that. Not now, not when you’re already working on your new book and this time you decided to release it under your real name.
You think about your parents. What would they think about their daughter? Surely they would feel disappointed. Lastly, you think about Jungkook. If you let Soojin get away with her threats, you might lose Jungkook for good. And that would slowly kill you.
“Okay, fine. I will try to talk to him about it.” you finally decide.
Dahyun claps her hands. “I knew it! Gosh, You’re down bad for this man, aren’t you?” she asks, grinning.
“Stop teasing me or I’m going to cancel our next self-care Wednesday.”
She gasps. “You wouldn’t. I have gua-sha massages planned for that day.”
“Try me!”
You [Wednesday, May 9th 11:08 pm]
Okay. We can talk in person
Jungkook [Wednesday, May 9th 11:09 pm]
I’m visiting Busan this weekend. Soojin has a business trip so I’ll be alone
Would you like to go with me?
You [Wednesday, May 9th 11:12 pm]
Busan is fine by me. I missed my parents
I will take the train though.
Jungkook [Wednesday, May 9th 11:13 pm]
See you there
“There she is! My lovely daughter!”
It’s the first thing you hear after getting off the train at the railway station in Busan. Your mum hugs you tight and plants a kiss on your cheek. “Your dad couldn’t leave work earlier today so I’m picking you up instead,” She puts her hands on your shoulders and eyes you carefully. The smile she was wearing just seconds ago leaves her face. “I can tell you haven’t been eating well! What have I told you? You need to eat or you won’t have any energy!”
There it is. The world could be on fire and your mom would still worry about you not eating enough. Twenty-something years have gone by, and she’s still relentlessly reminding you to do so.
You roll your eyes, as you always do. “What did you make for dinner, then?” you ask, opening the car’s trunk and putting your bag there.
Your mom’s mood instantly lights up. “Chicken soup and jajangmyeon, your favorite,” she answers and starts the engine. “By the way, Jungkookie is also at his parents’, he arrived yesterday. Why haven’t you come with him?”
“I had a meeting at the publishing company that I couldn’t postpone,” you lie. “I’m meeting him later today, though.”
“I can’t believe my daughter is going to be a published author so-hey, you idiot! Who gave you a driving license?!” she yells. The young driver raises his hand in apology and your mom huffs. “It’s always the young ones! Anyway, do you know that Jungkook never visits his parents with that wife of his? I’ve only seen her once, during their engagement party for the whole family. You know which one, they did a big barbecue in the backyard. She seemed nice then, but a bit too standoffish, don’t you think? She comes from money, right?”
“Yeah, her parents own a company in Seoul that distributes vegetables and fruits all over the country. They also export, I think.” you reply, staring at the busy streets of Busan. You would probably rather talk about sex with your mom than discuss Jungkook’s marriage life, but your mom is a busy-body and loves gossip too much to let that slide.
To say the last, Soojin’s father is a big name in the industry. Jungkook told you once that he had to attend a dinner with Soojin and her parents, hosted by the minister of agriculture. You remember how much Jungkook worried he might not fit in the family. Soojin grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth, attending private schools and going on vacations overseas. The summer after they officially had started dating, Jungkook worked two jobs so he could afford to go to Thailand with her. What was a standard for Soojin, was a hard-earned commodity for Jungkook.
Your mom whistles. “No wonder she doesn’t like coming here to Busan. Too posh for that, ha! And especially now, with two extra people in the house. Oh, ___, they are such cute babies! Everyone is head over heels for them.” she says, beaming.
You smile to yourself. Junghyun, Jungkook’s older brother, got married four years before him to his high school sweetheart and few months ago she got birth to twins. Knowing Jungkook, he’s probably spoiling them with presents every time he visits.
And speaking of the devil, you notice his car immediately as your mom pulls up to your driveway. With a heavy sigh, you brace yourself for what’s to come.
Four years ago, Junghyun’s wedding party
“So, my dear brother, when am I going to dance at your wedding?”
Junghyun was clearly drunk, his speech slurred as he wrapped his hands around Jungkook’s shoulders and gave him a loud kiss on the cheek. You giggled, positively buzzed yourself.
“I’m twenty-one and I just got back from the military. Let me live a little.” Jungkook grumbled and shoved his older brother away.
Really, it had been a little over two months now. His hair had grown into a nice length, the buzzcut long gone. He had gotten more buff, his dress shirt holding for dear life in some places. He’s matured, no longer a nineteen-year-old who had just finished high school but a grown adult.
Truth to be told, you missed him terribly.
Junghyun sat next to Jungkook, opened yet another soju bottle and poured a shot for each one of you. “To my beautiful wife Mina. I love you, honey!” he shouted and downed the alcohol. You could see Mina from across the room shaking her head with a soft smile playing on her lips. You grew up watching them fall for each other more and more with every passing day. If soulmates existed, Mina and Junghyun were definitely destined to be together.
“What about that birdie you’re dating now, huh? Sodam or something? Huh?” Junghyun asked, poking Jungkook in the ribs teasingly.
Jungkook’s already flushed cheeks, reddened ever more. “Her name’s Soojin and we are not dating. We went on one date,” he said sternly. “Besides, she’s out of my league. Her parents are super rich. Do you know she’s been to Paris this summer? She probably doesn’t know how cup noodles taste like!”
“She doesn’t know what she’s missing, then.” Junghyun shrugged his shoulders. He poured himself another shot of soju and looked at you, then at his younger brother, his face weirdly serious all of a sudden. “You know what I think?” he asked.
“I haven’t gained the ability to read your thoughts yet, hyung.”
Junghyun smacked Jungkook’s head. “Aish, who taught you to speak like that to your hyung?” You knew that, from the way Jungkook was biting his lips to refrain from laughing, that he wanted so badly to answer: “You did!”, but he decided to let Junghyun continue his drunken monologue. “I think that you and ___ will end up together one day.”
You tried to conceal your surprised expression with a chuckle. “Me and Jungkook? Please, I wouldn’t stand his ass.”
“Hey!”
Junghyun shook his head. “I’m serious. Best relationships, the ones that last years and years, are made out of friendship. Your partner should be your best friend! Look at our parents! Look at me and Mina! We’ve been friends throughout the whole middle school, tiptoeing around each other before one us decided to finally make a move. And now we’re married.” he said, his gaze longingly fixated on his wife. You dared to glance at Jungkook, thinking you’d find him amused by his brother’s drunken speech, but he was looking at Junghyun, not a hint of smile on his lips. “I think that it might take you a while to get there but eventually, I’ll dance at your wedding. And I’ll be really, really happy to do so.”
It is not a sign of maturity, to cling to someone’s drunken words so much. But for a while, you did. You replayed that moment over and over again in your head. You thought about Jungkook, his stoic expression while listening to his older brother. How he did not protest. How maybe, he could too imagine that happening. But then he went on another date with Soojin, and another. Started working extra hours to afford her lifestyle. Years gone by, and for some unknown reason, you still hold that memory close to your broken heart.

SEVENTEEN AS YOUR OLDER BROTHERS
genre: fluff, humor, banter(i tried) warnings: cursing, playful sibling banter wc: 910ish a/n: thank you anon! and please reblog if you enjoyed, feedback is always appreciated✿
seungcheol
he would fit well into the caring and protective older brother type. takes you out to eat all the tasty food he had with members. also classic in asian big brother fashion he would tease you to the point where you are pulling at your hair in frustration, but the moment someone else tries to talk shit about you! OH! he is throwing hands
jeonghan
the type of brother who eats the ramen you cooked for yourself (true beauty han seojun reference) he would make a fuss about you sitting in your room with a BOY. "he is not my boyfriend!" "then come out and sit in the living room you idiot" definitely the one who suggested the open-door policy
joshua
he could compete with your parents on who could spoil you more. buys you all sorts of gifts and sweets when he's on tour. like literally, homeboy had to buy another suitcase just so he could fit everything he bought. he gives you advice when you need it and even when you don't need it, and supports you in anything you do.
junhui
the type of brother who cried on all your graduation days yes, even elementary. growing up in different countries, he would be the type to ask you, how your school work was going and if you were keeping up with your studies with tears streaming down both of your faces. the type to send you gifts for scoring good marks in your weaker subjects
hoshi
he is the older brother who acts more like the maknae of the family. you would have to constantly remind him about putting his clothes in the laundry basket and might even have to stay up late because he forgot his project was due the next day. you would love your brother to bits but he will annoy the living shit out of you
wonwoo
he is very laid-back and easy to talk to. You could tell him all your secrets, and he would give you advice. is tired of deleting 139904 pics of you in the same pose off his phone and makes sure you can hear him whine about it but makes sure that he backs up about 3 of them
woozi
woozi is protective, but he also gives you your space and lets you make your own decisions. lots and lotsss of stupid arguments and silent treatments. definitely the type to take the blame if your parents were mad at you. if something was going wrong at home he would be over straight away, even if his schedule was packed.
dokyeom
another fake older brother spotted. he would probably embarrass you in front of the guys you like, just a little, and just for fun because he would never approve of anyone you ever bring back home. he knows that you look up to him, and this is what pushes him to keep going. the type of brother to wake you up by creating a ruckus and running around playing the sogo.
mingyu
we all know how mingyu and his younger sister talk to each other, that's just the way it is all the time. CURSE WORDS, CURSE WORDS, AND CURSE WORDS flying all across the house, across the table EVERYWHERE. but the moment someone tries to talk shit about you, mingyu is gonna make sure those are the last words coming out of their mouths
the8
the most chill brother of them all, still quite protective but knows that you can protect yourself, but is there in the back just in case. growing up apart made him cherish you so much more. showering you with gifts, giving you princess treatment cuz you are his little princess. saved up his breakfast money in elementary school to buy you the bubble machine for your birthday.
seungkwan
he would be wholesome and annoying at the same time as a brother. always interested in your business, "who are you talking to?" "you shouldn't talk to her i heard she's a bitch. Yeah". he loves to GOSSIP. if you both were in the same school, he would tell you all the gossip. he would also tail you to your class and would be waiting outside afterward so that you both could continue your argument.
vernon
cannot argue with you for the love of god because you understand each other too well. but whenever you argue it is about the pettiest things. "how DARE you eat the last slice it was mine". literally scares off every boyfriend you have ever had. holds you and pats your back when things get overwhelming. also the brother who convinces your parents for anything you want
dino
this boy nags you more than your parents. "look at your watch. what time is it huh? don't you see it is dark outside? when were you planning on coming home if i hadn't called you?" the only way he stops is when you throw a pillow right at his face. the type of brother to change your wallpaper to scare you. fighting him is like fighting a wall both verbally and physically. cuz this man is built like a wall and when he knows it is indeed his fault he just closes his door and refuses to listen. makes up by getting you mc donalds.

sad to say i’m already yours colin zabel x gn!reader
a/n : okay omg it’s happening. beware of the cringe conversation and pathetic angst i really wanna punch myself in the face. no warning, this just too rush and lame and pretty basic also apologies if its weird cuz english isn’t my first im so so so so sorry. i just love colin sm.
this wasn’t the first time colin shut one's eyes to your presence. you’ve grown very used to his demanding job that takes energy, time, and even attention, which often makes you feel like you’re just a second priority. or perhaps not even counted. you think these all are pretty normal because colin is a very capable and responsible when it comes to work. and you get it.
you frequently texted him asking if he’s working late again. the dinner you’d prepared often ended up in the fridge. you waited for him with the light of the television or with an open book on your lap, while your eyes close from weariness. alone. his reply always comes with an apology buried in his deep voice. you get it.
sometimes you choose to sleep first, only to be awakened by the creaking of the door. your man, with his tired face, throws himself onto your shared bed.
"rough day?"
colin just nods, burying his face in the pillow with a long sigh.
“wanna talk about it?”
“can’t.”
he clearly didn’t have much contribution for the conversation he’ll just kill it. also, colin would likely act as if you weren’t there, so you just smile at his brief response. you actually not sure if you want to cry or laugh at that. the cases that colin handles are sometimes too horrific to share. besides, they’re confidential. you genuinely respect how dedicated your man is to his job. you get it.
colin turns his head slightly toward you, his eyes half-closed. you move closer, give him a quick kiss on his cheek and say goodnight. colin, already asleep, faster than you thought, doesn’t even flinch, nor does he say it back.
for days, communication between you two hasn’t been that intense— no dinners together, no movie nights like you used to plan on weekends, no dates. when was the last time you became intimate with each other? probably two weeks ago. or three? four? you get it.
“want me to make you some snacks?”
“no, that's okay baby.”
his voice was soft, and somehow, ironically you miss him so bad even though he was right next to you.
“i heard there’s a new coffee shop and they have like bunch of pet inside, interesting 'right?”
"uh-huh"
"yeah they have puppies! i really wanna go there,”
“sure. can we talk later, baby? i’m busy right now.”
although he comes home every day, sleeping in the same bed with you, his presence just clearly made you felt nothing but more alone. it hurts to see him come home every night as if you’re just a place to stay. never home, probably just a hostel. how cruel if he’d forgotten your efforts, how you filled his empty cup after what his ex did to him. you didn’t take the easy route to win him over. or maybe you were never capable to replace her in the first place? where did you went wrong? isn't it ironic to think how heartbreaking and sad that you already belong to him?
that day, he forgot his breakfast, and even the coffee you have made remained untouched. how long this has to continue? you don’t hate him, not for a second. it’s just that your efforts to make him happy always seemed to fail.
“colin, we need to talk.”
“about what?”
it takes courage for you to start this conversation. you’re actually scared to bring it up because colin might think you’re overreacting.
“i always tell myself that you don’t mean to hurt me— which makes it less painful. but you know what? you never really see me.”
you slowly touch his hand, feels the veins through his skin, strong beneath your fingers, firm and solid.
he gives you a crooked smile. “what’s wrong with you? of course i see you,”
“no. i know you’re busy with work, but… col, i’m right here. how long do i have to hold on to this if you keep acting like that? i can’t take it anymore,”
“baby, i have work to do,”
“oh can we talk later? we never really talk later. why can’t you at least recognize my existence that i’m here? talk to me,”
a bitter taste filled your mouth. it hurts to face colin's expression, one that looks disgusted with you—at least, that’s what you think. now he’ll even hate you because you crave his attention.
“okay, i’m sorry i’m always busy, it’s not my fault it takes up a lot of my time as if i have choices. but i promise—“
“no. stop,” you shook your head, protesting with what colin said.
“stop what?”
“you talk to me like i’m stupid. i’m not stupid. i didn’t blame your job, i would never,”
“i know you’re not stupid, but you did blame me for a stupid reason,”
there his classic maneuver. his words seem like a clever observation to shift the blame, but it's all wrong. that’s not the issue, it never was, and you’ve never blamed his job. your eyes start to fill up with tears, and soon they’ll spill over. the lines on colin's face looks vividly serious, gazing you with intense look.
“t-this is why your ex—"
colin’s hand quickly grabs your jaw. it’s not rough, but enough to surprise you and make you stop your sentence. you gasped at his furrowed brows, his expression so tense with his wide-open eyes.
“don’t.”
you immediately regret it. you didn’t mean to brought up his past, you truly didn’t intended to hurt him.
“please, don’t.” his hand is still gripping your jaw, but his fingers start to loosen, and his thumb gently strokes your cheek. your eyes are still locked with him, and then you realize that what you see in colin’s eyes isn’t anger. it was fear.
you throw yourself into his arms, burying your face in the crook of his neck, muttering apologies between soft sobs. colin wraps his arms around you, holding you tight by the waist. he hides his face on your neck, pressing his body into yours with all his strength.
“colin, i’m sorry, i’m so sorry…”
for a moment, he becomes a complete silent. letting you stay in each other’s embrace. then he finally speaks.
“don’t leave me. please, not again.”

Jeon Jungkook had never thrown a tantrum since he was eight years old. His teaching was so strict being the heir to the throne that he had had to learn to tolerate many things and put up with others from an early age. Understanding the weight of what it entailed to be born with the title of “Crown Prince” had been one of the things that had taken him the least amount of time to grasp, but which he always questioned in the solitude of his room.
Jungkook had surprised his parents, understanding from a very young age the implications of his position and the responsibilities he was to assume in the future. That knowledge made him grow up lacking in many things, but with advantages in many others. By owning that awareness, Jungkook understood the weight on his parents' shoulders and knew that they must've had a difficult enough life for him to bother them with his childish mundanities. So that's how he grew up, for many years, trying to make life easy for his parents.
Usually, his mother used to use him as an example to his younger sisters on how to behave according to the title they held. His sisters never envied him, they really loved him, but Jungkook knew how much they hated not being able to live their childhood like all the other kids in town. And he hated that too, that they couldn't experience it, but he was relieved just to know that the big burden was on him and not on them. Expectations were always placed on him, the Crown Prince, the next King, and not on the princesses who only wanted to enjoy their life and childhood in the big castle. Still, Jungkook sometimes didn't understand why his mother demanded so much from his sisters when they hadn't grown up with the knowledge he was given. He hated the nights when Suni, the youngest of them all, would sneak into his room at night or search for him in the great Palace garden because eomma had forbidden her to keep stuffed animals in her room or because she got mad at her when she asked for more food at dinner.
Jungkook, for a long time, tried to make his parents' life a little easier.
But it infuriated him to think that they made his sisters' lives difficult in return.
So, for a change, Jungkook started throwing tantrums.
The first time he remembered it as lucidly as if it had been yesterday.
It was a sunny day in the square when he had gone out with his parents and two of his sisters. Their parents had dawned in a strangely good mood, so much so that they had decided to have a little family walk in the central point of town. Jungkook went with one of his sisters, Hari, making funny faces at his younger sister, Suni, behind his parents' backs, causing the little girl to laugh loudly. They were having such a peaceful and happy time that Jungkook couldn't believe it.
That is, until Suni saw one of the wooden toys they were selling in the square and began to pull her mother's hand. Hari and Jungkook stood silently, frozen, walking quietly behind their parents as they watched their little sister stir and pull harder and harder on the Queen's hand. They could barely go unnoticed… when Suni began to cry.
Jungkook bit his tongue, and had the urge to move forward to grab his sister and take her back to the Palace, but Hari's hand wrapped around his arm kept him sane. Jungkook hadn't been through a situation like that, precisely why his parents didn't often go out with their children, so he had no idea how his parents would react.
The Queen continued walking, almost dragging her little daughter who wouldn't let go of her hand. People passing by her were barely able to give them a glance, hurrying their pace when the Queen's eyes fell on them. The square had fallen into a dull silence that was perturbed only by Suni's sobs.
Hari squeezed Jungkook's arm tighter as the Queen turned her face away to look at Suni, and they both watched their mother's tense face, no longer welcoming and peaceful as they had seen her in the morning. She was now only the Queen and Suni, her own daughter, was trying her patience.
The King walked silently by her side, not even bothering to try to calm his daughter or show his wife patience. He lived in his own world.
Jungkook felt a hand clutch around his throat as the Queen began to tug on her little sister's arm, to get her to walk back to her side without crawling.
He didn't think twice as he began to speak, and Hari's hand tightened around his arm.
“Eommoni,” Jungkook elongated his voice, a hint of weariness and exhaustion ringing in the Queen's ears. The woman barely glanced over her shoulder at him, and Jungkook took it upon himself to keep his face irritated like his sister Hari did when she had to eat paprika. “Suni is making too much noise and my head hurts.”
His little sister turned to look at him, her eyes red and cheeks drenched in tears. Her little eyes rolled down his face and she had one of her hands almost inside her mouth, as many babies did when crying. Jungkook could never shake that habit that his mother hated, no matter how much he told her it was normal.
“Can't we go home already?” Jungkook continued, shuffling his feet. Hari was as want as a stone beside him.
“Jungkook,” the King's voice was heard, a silent warning.
A shiver ran through the two brothers walking arm in arm, but Jungkook didn't budge.
“It's getting too sunny, besides, and I'm dying of thirst. Let's go now.”
The King stopped and the whole family along with him. Suni was now sobbing quietly, she seemed to be calming down at the sound of her brother's voice, but tears still streamed down her face.
“Enough,” the King bellowed, turning around to stare at Jungkook. “You are demonstrating unacceptable behavior for the Crown Prince,” he spat, then turned his face to look at the Queen and Suni, “Let's go now.”
Suni let go of her mother's hand and stood in front of her father raising her arms towards him with a grimace that made one think she was nothing short of destroying the mountains with a scream. The King sighed, but took her in his arms. Snuggling into her father's neck, Suni finally closed her eyes.
“I hope you are satisfied, Jungkook,” his father spoke again. “You'll see what awaits you at home.”
The King's punishment had been harsh, as usual, but Jungkook was glad he had used his influence over his parents because, the next day, Suni was in the family dining room with the wooden toy in her hands.
Thus, Jungkook began a streak of manipulation against his parents to ease his sisters' lives. Since they were always more concerned about the Crown Prince's behavior, it was easier to divert his sisters' attention to him.
And to this day, Jungkook hadn't stopped doing so. Every day with more reasons, with different arguments, even if it cost him his life. He wouldn't stop. For them… and for him.
He raised his head as the doors to the great hall opened and a familiar face peered between them. The King's Counselor was striding toward him, hands loosely at his sides, dark blue uniform neatly arranged and a calm expression on his face. Jungkook knew him better than he let on, though, and knew those eyes incited nothing but reproach.
“You're in deep trouble,” was what Kim Seokjin said as soon as he reached his side, his gaze hard but his eyes soft, concerned.
“I know.”
“The way you confronted the Queen…”
“I know.”
“She's never going to let you leave this palace.”
Jungkook twisted his lips and focused his gaze on anything else within the room. Since he had arrived at the Palace, walking shoulder to shoulder with his mother, with the Queen, the two of them split their path and Jungkook had wandered off to a quiet place in the Palace thinking that the argument would end there; that his mother would ignore him for days and make his life miserable while his father watched. But the King arrived within minutes and sent for them both to the meeting room.
Jungkook had been waiting there for about ten minutes, thinking about what they could talk about, what kind of punishment the King wanted to give him, what kinds of poisonous words his mother was going to spit out, when the counselor arrived.
“If I hadn't gone, she would've- she would've given the order and…”
He pressed his lips together in a line. The paltry thought that hovered in his head at the possibility chilled the blood throughout his body. The shiver that ran through him made him grateful he'd had the chance, but reminded him that from now on he had to tiptoe around his mother.
“Your mother wanted a show. She didn't want to kill her, she wanted to humiliate her. Destroy her honor, like she thought she had done to her, to the Jeon family name.”
“That's stupid,” Jungkook spat, anger rebirthing like flames inside his chest. “No one would've ever found out if it weren't for what she did. Now everyone will be talking about it. For weeks.”
“That's true. It was not a calculated move, the Queen acted through her anger. And the consequences will be severe.”
“And you'll hear her already, blaming me for everything. As always.”
Seokjin gave him a sympathetic look, his body leaning against the table in the center of the room. He had known Jungkook since the Prince had turned 15 and since then it had been very hard for him to keep his distance when Jungkook started seeing him and coming to him like a brother. Seokjin knew how hard life had been for the Prince, even if he didn't notice it, even if he had normalized living that way, even if he had become accustomed to the mistreatment. Seokjin saw through those eyes the longing of his inner child, the desire to be free to do whatever he wanted, whatever he couldn't do before.
The counselor had been a pimp, if he had to admit it. He couldn't give him or let him do many things without his parents, the King and Queen, finding out, and both of them being punished for it. Still, he tried to support him in every way he could, like excusing him when he wanted to leave the palace alone for a walk, or accompanying him to have his first beer at Fresh Air; it was almost a tradition in town for older brothers to take their younger siblings to try their first alcoholic drink at that bar, to share those moments together.
Just as he had been in so many stages of his life, he knew Jungkook had been taking too many chances the past few months. Years, even. Seokjin would allow himself to cut him a little slack whenever he could, help him with excuses to breathe easy, but he constantly wondered how long he could be walking quietly on a tightrope. How long it would be before the Queen's sharp actions would cut off that tiny thread of hope that Jungkook had been moving on for some time.
“Have you heard about Hari and Suni?” the voice of Jungkook boomed in the silence, a few seconds after he had uttered the last words. Seokjin raised his head to look at him.
“They were on their way, very close. They should arrive today in the afternoon or during the night.”
The Prince nodded, faint lines crossing his forehead.
“Good thing they weren't around to witness all this.”
“I don't think they can escape the days ahead,” Seokjin mused and Jungkook bowed his head in a nod, a grimace akin to helplessness crossing his expression. “And more so when the King sent for you two. He must be furious.”
“The calm he showed in the square was only the sheet of ice containing his anger. I doubt we'll make it out of this room alive,” Jungkook felt a shudder run through his body as he remembered the look his father gave the Queen when he ordered him back to the Palace with her. His mother was scary, yes, people were right to fear her, the anger was always evident and furrowed her expression without self-consciousness to the world. But his father was not, the King was better known for having an icy rage, for having a frightening calmness when anger coursed through his veins. His mother might be dangerous, but the King was lethal.
“Jimin and Yoongi tried to come as soon as they heard, but the royal guard barred their way. They were practically locked in the guest room,” Seokjin remarked as he remembered the looks of both men on the other side of the room. The door was open when Seokjin was crossing the hall and two royal guards were guarding it, as if they were some mercenaries who did not deserve any good treatment. He knew it had been the Queen's order.
Jungkook's beady eyes fell into disbelief when he heard the counselor's words. It must have been his mother's command, he thought rightly as he held back the urge to smash his palm against the walnut wood table.
Away from the fog of anger that had consumed his mind the past few hours, Jungkook took a moment to breathe. He hated what his mother had done, but he knew his friends were fine. But she…
“Did you hear anything on the way here?” Jungkook inquired, and Seokjin promptly knew what he meant.
“Nothing, everything was scattered when I arrived.”
A whiplash of fear and panic surged through Jungkook's chest. Not many times had he felt that kind of terror, the kind he thought he could only feel in his nightmares. And Seokjin knew the Prince must be dying of uncertainty inside, because he didn't bother in the least to disguise the emotions that traveled across his face.
“She should be fine,” the counselor assured him, though his words were an empty promise. “The King may turn out to be more merciful than you think.”
Seokjin didn't know if the King's mercy went that far, but he wanted to convince himself with his own words, for he wouldn't know how broken the already fractured family bond in that Palace would be if the opposite were true.
He didn't have much time to continue rambling when the sound of quickened footsteps began to echo from the hallway. Seokjin broke away from the table and approached the white wall, carved with lines on its columns, arches over the smooth walls, and undulating figures at the births of them.
The large oval doors of dark wood opened wide and the King entered without hesitation, the Queen walking behind him. At that moment, Jungkook didn't want to see them as father and mother. From the looks they were both giving him, the Prince almost felt that he would be the next to have a trial.
When the Queen was standing right in front of Jungkook across the table, the doors closed with a barely audible sound, and the room was taken over by thunderous silence.
“May I ask, what was on your mind?”
Jungkook didn't turn his gaze to the King. It was disrespectful not to look at him when he spoke, he knew it, every villager knew it, more so him being his son. But maybe he wasn't as prepared for that meeting as he thought he was. He didn't want to take the blame for something that wasn't a crime. Because he hadn't hurt anyone. Because…
“Are you talking to me?” the Queen's voice interrupted his train of thought, and he allowed himself at that moment to raise his head.
The King was watching his wife, who had a surprised grimace on her face in contrast to her father's impassive and cold look, the typical and familiar one.
“What were you thinking going out to do all this, Hyori?”
Seokjin didn't hide the astonishment that took over his face when he heard the King call the Queen by her proper name. It shouldn't be something to be missed, but he and Jungkook were used to formalities between the two supreme figures in front of them. That his father decided to set aside his formality to speak to the Queen in such a manner spoke too much of the anger he held in his heart.
“Why are you directing your anger against me? I wasn't the one who caused all this.”
Jungkook watched the Queen's frown, her face contracted in skepticism. She had adopted a defensive posture, truly offended at being the target of the King's anger.
“You were the one who caused all this,” the King nodded with anger rising in the glint in his eyes. “If you hadn't gone out and made all that fuss, we wouldn't be going through all this right now.”
“But what are you talking about?” the Queen exclaimed, and when she raised her voice Jungkook shrank back in his seat. He shot a glance at Seokjin, but it seemed that the counselor was just as confused as he was. “What don't you see that the reason for the fuss is sitting on the other side of the table?”
Jungkook didn't have to turn his head to know that his mother was pointing at him with a furious glare. But the King didn't even spare the Prince a glance when he responded:
“Stop pointing at your son like that,” he mumbled through his teeth, venom surrounding every word.
A sound of disbelief left the Queen, with a stupefied chuckle following her as she approached the King at a slow pace.
“Do you have any idea what your son did? What that woman wanted to do to our family?”
Jungkook gritted his teeth, his hands gathering on the wood of the table.
“And do you have any idea what that theatrics just cost our reputation? I had to meet with the high consorts immediately. They're not very happy with what you did.”
The Queen snorted not believing for a second that she was the one getting all the scolding and yelling and not Jungkook. Seokjin, secretly, wasn't too upset about it.
“Are you defending him?”
It was the King's turn to break through the icy mask, irritability seeping through his gut.
“What Jungkook did was minimal compared to what your show cost us. The high consorts are reconsidering their offers. They don't think it's very good for their public image to do business with a Queen who still does public executions.”
“They are not forbidden in our nation.”
“No,” the King nodded, “but they will be.”
Jungkook didn't disguise the gasp of surprise that left his mouth. Was he really hearing those words from his father…? The Queen spluttered, and the Prince turned to see her face contracted in astonishment… in betrayal.
“What your son and that woman did is unacceptable.”
“What Jungkook did or didn't do is what matters least,” the King mumbled, his glacial eyes roaming over his wife's face that would not leave her stupefaction.
“What are you saying? He was courting-!”
“I don't care,” the King repeated, his words stronger, more concise. “As long as it doesn't affect the Crown, what Jungkook does outside this Palace doesn't matter to me.”
Thunderous silence followed his words. Seokjin watched everyone present with utmost caution from his position. He might be a simple counselor, but he knew some self-defense tactics. Meanwhile, Jungkook was totally speechless. His gaze wandered over his father and then shifted to his mother's stunned look, an expression that hadn't left her since the King began speaking.
“You can't do that. You can't just not care…” the Queen was shaking her head in refusal, refusing to accept the words she heard from her husband's mouth. “You can't turn a blind eye to-”
“I already did,” the King spoke again and Jungkook did not miss the way his eyes averted for less than a second. The way he looked at him, the sad gleam in his eyes. Or well, sad was what he seemed to have seen, because the King's expression changed so quickly that Jungkook might have thought he had imagined it, if not for what he said next, “I already had.”
“What are you talking about?”
The Prince felt a hand squeeze his heart, trying to stifle it, to keep him conscious long enough to survive, but using just enough strength to feel death close. His lips parted as he watched the father who wouldn't look back at him, who was staring harshly at his mother as the only true culprit in this whole mess. No, the problem wasn't that Jungkook was trusting, not that he stopped paying attention, not that he had let his guard down…
“You knew,” Jungkook spoke for the first time. His voice came out slightly hoarse, his beady, disbelieving eyes glinting in the natural sunlight as his father gave him a neutral, dry, emotionless look.
“What?” the Queen's head turned sharply toward her husband, her eyes exaggeratedly wide.
Without looking away from his son, the King spoke, “Did you really think there was anything you could do in the Palace that I wouldn't know about?”
Almost out of sad inertia, with a whiplash of pain in his chest, Jungkook shook his head at the counselor. Seokjin half-opened his lips in surprise, but shook his head in a negative as he felt the deer eyes on him.
“Counselor Kim has nothing to do here,” the King spoke, his gaze still on the Prince.
“Your Majesty-” Seokjin tried to speak, but the King raised a hand in his direction.
“Not now,” his stern gaze was still on Jungkook, but he promptly turned back to stare at the Queen who seemed not to credit what she saw.
“You knew and… you allowed it?” the Queen's voice was barely a whisper, surprise taking all her breath away.
“I told you, she was never a threat to the Crown.”
“She wasn't a threat, she was a gold digger! She wanted all the riches Jungkook could give her!”
The Prince gnashed his teeth. His bite was so hard that it strained his jaw and a slight pain ran through his gums. He wanted his mother to stop talking that way, expressing herself that way, he wanted to say something to her, anything…
“That's what you made it sound like, making all this fuss. Now there's really no way of knowing,” the King replied impassively, though several muscles in his face were already beginning to retract.
“She was going to steal from us,” the Queen exclaimed in utter conviction.
“She was going to do no such thing,” Jungkook blurted out, his hand clenched on the table and the Queen's eyes exorbitant as she turned to see him as he answered her thus. It was an impulse, but he had done it, and though his instinct was to shrink from her gaze, he faced her and continued speaking. “She never tried to take advantage of me. She is a kind, loving, honest and a humble soul. All she wanted for me was happiness.”
The Queen snorted, interrupting him, and his assurance flanked. Jungkook didn't feel he was over, but the King took the floor again:
“You're going to have to apologize to his mother.”
“What?”
“I'm not going to bear such an embarrassment to someone who has provided us with her services.”
“I'm not going to do-”
“You will. And the next time you intend to bring a trial against someone, Counselor Kim will be only too pleased to give you a few lessons in law.”
And with that, the King left the room.

younger reader, early twenties but is a med student at like an ivy league so very stressed and at times busier than mike himself, she tries to hide her stress and how its affecting her but mike catches on and confronts her
She had her head on those books the whole day. Her brain was starting not to work so well anymore. She was returning from a microbiology exam and an anatomy one from the day before and now she had another one tomorrow and she was going through it one more time. She felt sure about it but also she felt like not knowing enough. But all those pharmacies and tissues' names were starting to not make sense anymore.
The evening arrived and she didn't even remember to eat at all till Mike prepared dinner for her.
"Ehi... here, eat something" he puts the plate down on the table.
"Oh... thanks, honey" she tells him gratefully.
He caresses her hair and kisses her head, "I'm gonna do the dishes... and then we're going to sleep"
He finishes the dishes and goes behind her chair, tapping her shoulder, "Come on... let's go to sleep"
"You can go, baby, I'll come in a minute" she says, opening her books another time.
Mike opens his mouth to say something but understands this is not the moment to start a discussion since she has to wake up early in the morning and have those tests.
He sighs and goes to sleep.
The next morning, she wakes up early and goes to submit her tests.
She comes back home by early afternoon. She throws her bag on the floor and her jacket on the couch. She huffs nervously and starts pacing around.
She went to submit two exams and she came back finding out that the other two exams she did, she didn't pass. Both of them. She felt like a failure. She failed two exams. She worked so hard, how was it possible?
Mike entered the house and she got back on her tracks rapidly, not wanting him to see her like this.
"Ehi, baby... how was your day?" he asks.
"Fine" she says trying to keep her voice steady.
Mike stops a second to look at her carefully.
"Can you sit here with me for a minute?" he tells her, his voice is serious and his face is still.
"What? Why? No, I don't have time, I have to get back to studying..." she says taking her bag again.
He stops her by taking her bag gently out of her hands.
"Sit with me"
He takes her hands and lets her sit on the couch with him.
"I noticed you're putting way too much pressure on yourself... you're getting lost in all of this and I know how important it is to you but I just... can't see you like this. Weighing yourself with this. Yesterday you forgot to eat. If I hadn't made you dinner, you wouldn't have eaten at all... and I don't know how to help you" he speaks his heart out.
She looks down, knowing he's right, but what can she do?
"I barely saw you this week. I know you have to do this but you should take it easy. Don't book this many exams at the same time, nobody is rushing you. You have to take your time"
"I know... i just want to do it all, I want to make this happen as soon as possible so that I can get my degree and start to work..." she explains.
"And you're right for that..." he takes her face in his hands, "... but it's killing you and it's killing me to see you like this"
"I know"
"Promise me you'll take your time" Mike says.
She looks at him for a bit and then gives in, "Ok, I promise"
He kisses her. A kiss of comfort, a kiss to lock their promise, a kiss to tell her he's by her side, always.
"I love you. And when you're stressed, you come to me. To scream at me, to talk about it, to release the stress with a make out session..." he chuckles and she does too, "But don't do it alone. I'm here for you"
She smiles and nods, "I know"

A/N: So, I was working on a story and then I couldn't edit it anymore... Probably cuz I took too long. Oops. Sorry @starry-fool
Sing With Me?
The Hat of Fate can burn.
Because of that accursed thing, you were now sitting in the living room of one Quinn Fabray. As the new kid in school, she scared the ever living shit out of you. While she wasn't quite the HBIC anymore, Quinn was still quite intimidating. What sucked further was that the two of you couldn't agree on ANYTHING.
"What about this one?"
"We've done that song already."
"This one?"
"No."
You had been at this for the past hour. Almost every suggestion you had was rejected one way or another. Quinn wasn't helping either. It was as if she wasn't even trying. It was frustrating.
"You suggest something then!" You groan, throwing your arms in the air. "Even if you don't care, it's still an assignment."
The blonde just rolls her eyes and levels you with a glare.
"Look. It doesn't matter anyway. Rachel and Finn are gonna sing, Mr. Schue will fawn over them and the rest of us are shoved into the sidelines. That's just how it is."
"That can change! There are so many great voices in the club. There's always a chance."
At that, Quinn slams her hand onto the table, startling you into silence.
"Things aren't going to change! Why bother trying!? If Mercedes and Santana can't, then we definitely have no shot. So just give up, dumbass!"
The other girl gets up and stomps away, leaving you stunned. You try not to cry. You were never great when someone yelled at you. Regardless, after a moment, you slowly gather your things and move to put your shoes on and leave. Why fight a losing battle?
-----+++++-----
Quinn felt horrible. After hearing the front door close, she knew she screwed up. She knew she forgot the main reason for the Glee Club's existence.
Acceptance. Love of singing. Love of each other.
She had to apologize, but you weren't making it easy. The next day at school, Quinn couldn't find you at all outside of class. It was clear you were avoiding her and it made her feel even worse.
By the time lunch came around, Quinn nearly gave up her search. It wasn't until she heard rhythmic tapping coming from an empty classroom. Peeking her head in, the blonde finds you sitting, headphones on while tapping a pencil onto the desk. She was about to get your attention, but then you started singing.
I could play any game with you
I could say what you want me to
I could lie, I could lie
She listens to your voice and suddenly realizes that your voices would mesh incredibly well together without her changing her natural tone too much. So she stands there, listening further while you continue to lose yourself into the song. The song was unfamiliar, but it was easy enough for her to pick up the chorus.
So she does and joins in the next time it comes around.
Even through your headphones, you hear Quinn's voice and it startles you.
"Quinn? What are you doing here?" You ask, standing up and pulling the headphones from your head.
"Looking for you," she replies with a smile. "I wanted to apologize for last night. Honestly, I shouldn't care about the drama and politicking. I've been in too much of it and I'm tired." She shakes her head. "Let's just have fun and sing, yeah? That's what we're in the club for, right?"
Her hand reaches out towards yours and waits. It was an offering. Of friendship? Of teamwork? All of the above? You weren't sure, but you were willing to find out. Your hand grasps hers and you look into those shining hazel eyes.
"Let's figure out what to sing then."
Quinn pulls you out of the classroom and you walk alongside her.
"Actually, I really liked the song you were singing. Teach me that one?"
Her hand never lets go of yours.
-----+++++-----
In the span of the week, you and Quinn work on your duet. Together, you figure out the lyrics and arrangement relatively quickly and dedicate the rest of your time to rehearsal. It doesn't take long for you to notice a shift in your relationship though.
You're sitting in Quinn's living room again. While you were opposite each other, you were still sitting close enough for your knees to touch. Quinn's voice blends with yours as you practice. But at a certain lyric, your eyes meet and there's a sudden tension in the room.
And if I go, will you love me
Will you love me when I come back
You were performing tomorrow. You were going to show the club that a performance doesn't need the best voices. You just needed to have fun. You and Quinn had worked hard to show this.
But this? This seemed like so much more.
The singing had ebbed as soon as you locked eyes. The air was so heavy, you could hardly breathe. It wasn't until Quinn's eyes flicked to your lips did you look away.
"Heh... I think we have that, what did Mr. Schue say? Vocal chemistry?" You say awkwardly. You could feel Quinn's eyes boring into you. "M-maybe we'll convince him to change things up, yeah?"
Suddenly, there was a hand on your cheek and you were staring into hazel eyes again.
"It doesn't matter if Mr. Schue changes things," Quinn says. Did she get even closer to you? She got even closer to you. You can feel her breath against your face. "But maybe we can still shake things up a little."
The smirk she pulls draws your attention to her lips and now you can't look away. You lean in and press your lips to hers. It starts out soft and tentative. You feel Quinn let out a soft sigh before pressing a little further into you. When you finally part, a small laugh escapes from you.
"Yeah, that'll shake things up."
Quinn just pulls you against her again.
"And as great as that is, I just want to 'sing' with you again."
Another kiss, plus many more, follow. You don't end up rehearsing anymore. Things were more than perfect.

Emily pov:
My hands ran over my face as I let out an exasperated sigh, it had been a long day. Marking tests while having to solve a case isn’t my ideal way to spend then week but it’s how I spent it. Just as I was about to pack my things away and go home for the day there was a knock at my office door, I internally groaned at the noise. “Come in!” I said to the person on the other side.
”Hey, sorry, I know you’ve had a long day but the student that’s meant to shadow us is here, what’s her name? Umm, y/n?” JJ said to me, looking genuinely sorry for throwing yet another task on me today.
”Oh yeah, I totally forgot about the meeting, send her in thanks Jay.” I smile politely at her, wishing that I could tell her that she actually just made my day a whole lot better.
“Yeah of course, also, we’re going to the bar, we could wait for you?”
“Ah no don’t worry about it, I’ll catch you all next time. Thank you for the invitation though!”
She nodded her head and walked out of my office leaving the door ajar just for it to swing open again, revealing the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. Y/n obviously.
“Hi, heard you’ve had quite the day huh?” Her eyes stayed on mine as she shut the door behind her before coming to my desk and sitting down.
“You could definitely say that although, it did just get a whole lot better.” I smirk at the blush that coats her face when I say this, she’s so easy to make blush and I love it.
“I’m glad I could help.” She says sheepishly. I lean forward and her eyes dart to my cleavage before going back to my eyes.
”Glad you realised my eyes are up here honey.” My voice laced with a teasing tone. Yet again, her cheeks darken with a red tint.
“It pains me to cut our little game short but, we actually have something to talk about sweetheart.” I then went on to explain how everything will work with her shadowing our work: who she will be shadowing (mainly me but, she will rotate a little), what the dress code is, what she can do etc. Boring stuff. The more interesting thing is mainly experience in the field, helping with the profile and getting hands on experience.
After our meeting was over I walked out with her considering I was planning to leave anyway, as the lift doors closed my hand found hers and I bought it up to mine to kiss. “How’d you get here?” I asked, praying she would say some form of public transport so I could have an excuse to take her home (or to mine, I didn’t mind either).
“Bus, which was stupid looking back because they don’t run this far out, this late.” She said while leaning into my touch, savouring the time we had together. As soon as the doors ding we pull away and continued walking.
“It’s okay, I’ll take you home, or to mine if you’d like?” I feel like I whispered the last part because she doesn’t answer for a second.
“I’d love to go to your place, if it’s not too much of an ask.” I look at her endearingly, shocked at how polite she is.
“Love, I offered, of course it’s no trouble.” A warm smile spread across her cheeks as I said that and as if it was infectious, one formed on my lips too.
<<>>
Reader pov:
As I sunk into Emily’s passenger seat I couldn’t help but think how tonight would go, I mean it’s the second time we’re having dinner together and I’m going to hope I get an offer to stay over so, probably the first time I’m staying round. Ugh, I’m thinking too much. I’ll just let the night take me, where the night takes me.
“You okay there?” She asks glancing away from the road for a sec to check on me (which made me melt).
“Yeah I’m fine, just thinking that’s all.” I say gently resting my hand on hers on the gear stick, however, she pulls her hand from under mine and places it on top of mine instead, it’s becoming a little tradition of ours now.
“Are you sure? Don’t want you worrying that pretty little head of yours.” I, yet again, start smiling at her words and a rose tint covers my cheeks.
“I’m sure, thank you for checking though em.” The nickname rolls off my tongue accidentally, never having actually called her it before, and I realise that maybe I crossed a line as soon as I said it but she only smiled brightly at me.
“Em, huh?” She teased.
”If thats okay with you.” I say suddenly self conscious.
”It’s perfectly fine with me darling.” She squeezed my hand that was covered by hers and kept driving, beaming her perfect smile the whole way to her house.
<<>>
When we reached her house I walked in and was welcomed by an adorable black cat running at my feet.
“That’s Sergio, he isn’t great with strangers so don’t be hurt if he doesn’t warm up straight away.” She said lovingly as I bent down to pet him. To both of our surprise he nuzzled into my hand and started purring.
“Wow, you must be special princess.” She said as her arm hooked around my waist as I rose to my feet again, Sergio still circling my feet.
“I must be!” I say slightly exhilarated that A) she just called me princess and B) her cat likes me! That’s definitely a good sign.
As I walked into her house I had to make sure my mouth didn’t hang open too much because her house was gorgeous. Open plan and sleek, but not super blinding white like all those modern houses, the coziest looking sofa ever, a fully decked out kitchen and a hardwood dining table. The entire back wall was large windows which looked out onto her enourmous back garden which was all grass and flowers, there was one of those swinging bench things on the deck, a barbecue and an outside table. Just further out there was a small arch with flowers, ivy and all sorts of shrubbery growing and twirling around it and a small bench perched under it. I spin round and take in everything once more.
“You like it?” Em says, pouring food into Sergio’s bowl.
”It’s gorgeous, you must be loaded.” I say with a chuckle, poking fun at her for her rustic yet elegant house.
“Working non-stop for years does pay off when it comes to house buying.” She quips back to me.
I make my way over to her as she places the food down for a very hungry cat. She stands back up and meets me halfway. Her arms find home around my waist as my hands cup the back of her neck. She leans in and steals a quick kiss, leaving me wanting more but pulls away, grabbing my hand and leading me to the kitchen.
”Do you know how to cook?” She asks while pulling an Italian cookbook from the countertop.
“Yes, it’s just about the one thing I can do well.” I respond, curious as to where she’s going with this.
”I find that hard to believe, that you’re not good at other things I mean. But, if you can cook,” She places down the cookbook on a simple homemade pizza recipe and looks at me “Please for the love of god teach me how. I cannot burn down another kitchen.”
I laugh at her words and quickly realise she’s not joking so I get to work.
”Okay, first we need to get out all the ingredients and measuring equipment, okay?” I question her, she does a cute, short, determined nod to be before going to the cupboards. After asking where a few things were I slowly became accustomed to her kitchen and was able to move around fluidly as I started preparing things.
”Okay, first step…”
As we made the dough we stole kisses and touches throughout, and threw the occasional heap of flour at the other. I was kneading the dough as she came up behind me and wrapped her arms around my waist, pressing her soft lips against my neck, featherlight kisses sending shivers up my spine.
“You’re an amazing cook princess.” She says, voice muffled slightly due to her position.
”Thank you,” I responded as I kept kneading the dough. My arms started to grow tired but I was basically done anyway so I placed the dough in a bowl and draped a towel on top and aired for it to rise. I turn around in her arms and lace my arms around her neck, my back slightly arching into her as she pressed me against the counter.
”We have to let it rise for an hour to an hour and a half now.” I speak between kisses that she keeps planting on my lips, not that I’m complaining.
“I can think of a few things we can do to fill that time.” A suggestive smirk adorns her face as she talks, heat pooling in my core. The thought of being intimate with Emily was enough to make me cum on its own. I decide to play coy and act as if I don’t know what she’s insinuating. “Oh really? What exactly do you have in mind?”
”Oh I don’t know, some alone time, just you and me, no clothes allowed.” Butterflies erupt in my stomach at her words.
”That sounds fun.” My words come out more breathy than expected as she lowers her head and begins sucking on my pulse point, her teeth harshly pulling and biting before her tongue runs over it to soothe it.
Her lips find their way to mine, a desperate kiss with teeth clashing and biting lips. She guided me away from the counter and lifted me up with ease and carried me to her bedroom. As we got into her room she placed me gently on the bed before kneeling in front of me.
“Can I take this off?” She signals to my shirt, toying with the buttons already. I nod but she doesn’t move. “I need words princess.”
”God yes, please.” She doesn’t hesitate a second this time, unbuttoning my shirt, nimble fingers working fast. She pulls it off my shoulders and chucks it somewhere to her left. She starts placing soft kisses all over my chest, slowly moving to the swell of my breast that was showing out the top of my bra. Her hands caress my sides and gently move to remove my bra, her fingers hooking round the back and un-clipping it. She helped me remove it and again, tossed it somewhere in the room. Em leaned back for a second, drinking me in.
“You’re gorgeous love.” Her mouth quickly meets my nipple after her quick and heart warming exchange of words. Her hand came to toy with the other one as I tipped my head back, breathy half-moans leaving my mouth. My hands tangled in her raven locks and pulled her in further. Her mouth migrated to my other boob and she paid that one just as much attention.
Sly fingers slipped into the waistband of my trousers and she tugged, asking to take them off. I stood up in front of her, her mouth momentarily detached from my breast and made quick work of my trousers. Unzipping them and bringing them down my legs leaving me in just my underwear. I suddenly realise that she’s still fully clothed and pull on her collar just as she did my trousers.
”You want me to take it off baby?” Her tone almost mocking, yet gentle.
”Please, I need to see you.” This answer seemed to satisfy her and she beg and removing her shirt with my help. She rose to her feet and removed her trousers before pulling off her bra and underwear, leaving my core throbbing at the sight of her. She climbed on the bed and sat against the headboard, patting her lap, inviting me over.
I climbed onto the bed and straight into her lap, relishing in the way her bare skin felt against mine. She leaned in and kissed me hard and desperate. I leaned in to the kiss and welcomed her tongue into my mouth. The feeling of her tongue exploring every inch of my mouth almost made me moan. Her hands held my hips firmly as she began to shift me to straddle one of her thighs. “Have you ever been with a woman before princess?” Her tone, soft and reassuring.
”Once, a few years ago. Haven’t had much action because of school.” My statement made her chuckle, but her eyes seemed to darken a little at the mention of another woman.
“That’s okay, just like you taught me how to cook, I’ll teach you this.” As she finished her sentence, her hands started moving my hips slowing back and forth, my clothed clit grinding on her toned leg. A small moan slipped past my lips and her smirk widened. “You like that baby? You want more?” I nod vigorously and she switches our positions and lays me down on the bed under her.
“If you don’t like anything, or want me to stop, say, okay love?” Her hands brush some stray hairs from my face as she talks.
”I will.” She smiles at me and starts kissing me again while her fingers make quick work of pulling down my underwear. My hips lift as she pulls them off, eager for her touch.
“You’re so pretty y/n/n. You have no idea what you make me feel.” Her fingers trail down to where I need her the most, stroking my inner thigh and teasing my clit.
”You’re breathtaking em.” I say back to her, needing her to know that I feel the exact same way.
She hums in appreciation before she kisses her way down my body, all the way till she gets to my thighs, taking time to mark them with purple marks that won’t fade for a few days, claiming me.
Her breath fans over my core as she places light kisses on my clit. I can’t hold back anymore and a frustrated whine leaves my lips “Mommy please!” The title rolls off my tongue before I can stop it, I look down to find Emily already looking at me.
“Quiet baby, mommy will make you feel good. Be a good girl and be patient.” I let out a small shuddering breath at her words, which only made me wetter.
Finally, after so many minutes of teasing her mouth made contact with my clit, licking it gently to get me used to the sensation. A moan left my lips which seemed to spur her on as she then started sucking on my clit hard. “Oh fuck!” I moaned out as my hips instinctively jolted up. Her arm came to rest over my hips, pushing me down so she could continue her actions. Her tongue poked, prodded and swirled my pulsing clit, making me squirm under her. I feel her fingers trailing up my thigh towards my centre, teasing my entrance. “Please, please I need you.” I beg her, needing something more than just my clit.
”What do you need, baby? I won’t know until you say it.” I can practically feel her smirk as she responds to my pleas.
“I need your fingers inside me mommy please!” I don’t even finish my sentence before her mouth has resumed it’s work on my clit and her two fingers were in my pussy, gently scissoring so I can adjust. Filthy moans left my lips as she kept sucking and began pumping her fingers in and out of my hole. Gently at first but she soon grew impatient and started hammering into me.
I was a whimpering mess, feeling my release coming soon. I grabbed her hair yet again and pushed her desperately into me, my other hand grabbing the bedsheet as pleasure pulsed through me. “I’m gunna cum. Please, can I cum?” I ask her, giving her doe eyes as I look down.
”Cum on mommy’s face, princess.” All I needed was those words before my hips started grinding to match her pace and I felt that blissful peak wash over me. Her name rolled out of my lips as my back arched and I saw stars. Emily’s tongue lapped at my entrance savouring every last drop she could, eating me out like a starved woman.
I come back down to earth, panting, feeling wet kisses being trailed up my body before reaching my face. ”You did so good for me, love.” I smile at her words, enjoying the praise and mutter a small “Thank you” Before her lips are on mine yet again. This time, tasting myself on her tongue. I beam dopily up at her, finally grounding myself after the most mind blowing orgasm I’ve had.
“Mommy?” She questions, breaking the silence. A scarlet hue invades my face, I avoid her gaze by looking at her chest, busying myself with her breasts instead. She captures my chin with her finger and thumb and directs my head up to look at her. “Not that I don’t want you looking down there but, there’s no need to be embarrassed sweetheart. I loved it.” She reassured me.
I pull her in for a sweet kiss this time, not lust filled like our previous. Her alarm on her phone pulls us out of our bubble.
”I almost forgot about the pizza.” I confess admiring the goddess that sits on top of me shutting off the alarm on her phone.
“Same to be honest, let’s get cleaned up and you can teach me how to make it, yeah?” I nod in response and move to get off the bed, only to be swept off my feet by emily.
”I can walk you know?” I say, secretly loving every second of this.
“I know, but I prefer this.” I laugh softly as she says that. She sets me down and prepares a warm flannel and body wash and gets to work.
Once we’re ready we go back downstairs to the kitchen and continue making out pizza, the evening air filled with laughs, whispers in ears and kisses.
